Paint Tutorial: putting an outfit together

Strabimbo has created a great PS tutorial on how to try on clothes.
http://www.missbimbo.com/forum/t99551,1 … toshop.htm

Here is a tutorial on how to do the same thing but with paint. I will try to make one for GIMP users as well. sourire

Some one mentioned that they only have paint. It takes more time to put an outfit together, due to the limited tools in paint.

Get the clothing items that you are interested in.
Open two paint windows.
Print screen and paste the screen cap into paint.
select the "select Button" and cut out the model,  and paste it into the other paint window.

Do this with all the clothing items.
Go to your room and select your bimbo > make sure that you unequip everything that she is wearing.

http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/5468/alledited.th.jpg

Cutoff the parts of the models that you don't need so  that you are left with this.

Now zoom in by using "magnifier".
Use the "pick color" and select the light color.
click the"Eraser" and Right click to erase just that color.
Do the same with the dark color until you are left with this.

Now zoom in by using "magnifier".
use the eraser to get rid of arms and legs and such.

use the "select key" to take the items and place them on your bimbo.
Make sure that you have the second option selected

Re: Paint Tutorial: putting an outfit together

Hi,

Thanks for this guide - It is really useful
- what do you mean by the 'select key' ?
when I try and copy the item to move it on to the bimbo I end up moving all the space around the clothing as well

Re: Paint Tutorial: putting an outfit together

The select key is the Second key in the first row.
When you click on it your given two options.
First option moves everything including the background.
Second option only moves the item and leaves the background.

Re: Paint Tutorial: putting an outfit together

This is such a nice way for trying on clothes! Thank you so much, LadyXian21!

I have an idea on how to minimize the numbers of times you have to press "prt sc", press it only one time to take an image of your bimbo. Then go to the shop, right click on the item you want to try on and save the image somewhere on your computer. Open the image with paint, use the transparent select option and select the black background area, right click on the black color in the color box and copy the selection. Open another paint browser which has your bimbo image, click on the select button, choose the transparent option, right click on the black color in the color box and click "paste". Now all you have to do is move the item around and try it on your bimbo!

This might not work with all clothes and all Paint versions but I hope it helps some how!
