Are you a College or Uni student?
I thought this thread would be a good idea...
We can talk about our studies, give each other courage during exam periods, listen to crazy student stories etc.
So I'd say: start chatting!
As for myself: I'm an economics student at uni (2nd year), and I really love what I'm studying!
So, what about the rest of you?

Ooh, I'm a student! *waves*
I'm at the end of my 4th year in computing, and I can't wait to finish!

law student,first year(coming up to my 2nd)

Inflames - I'm going to have a programming class next year, and I'm really not looking forward to it
!
Jessica - I'm studying my commercial law course right now
.
I also had a kind of general law introduction last year, with the most important aspects for economists, and I really enjoy those classes ^^.

Programming in an economics course!? Where does that fit in may I ask?
I love programming though, I'll help you out if you get stuck with it

Another way to procrastinate!
Another student here as well, doing a masters in history (what was I thinking??) Economics and Programming sound interesting, but way too tough for me! I did english as part of my degree though, I really enjoyed it.

Yeah...I don't really know why, but we have to
.
I've had a general computing course last year, about machine language, binairy and floating point notations and stuff like that.
I'll find you next year when I'm totally lost
!
Actually, programming isn't the only strange course we have...we had philosophy and sociology too last year
, not fun! I guess they give us one like that each year
.

I'm just coming to the end of my third year studying accounts! Only got 3 exams to do in may and the it's the holidays!
I had to take economics as part of my course in first year and hated it!
And then in second year i had to do commercial law, found that quite interesting in places but found it impossible to get an A!

i just want to add i do a bit of media too.

Gawain - do you mean this thread is another way to procrastinate?
didn't thing of that...
.
Haha, if you don't know why you're studying history, why did you start it?
Offline
i love it im a nerd! love reading shakespeare and poetry. what do you like about your course Eleintje

Jessica: media too? Your system seems very different from ours!
Over here, you choose one direction, like economics, computing, law ... and you cannot choose any other subjects than those who are in your scheme...I always find it odd when people have to totally different study areas
.
Sally: I love accounting!
Why did you hate economics?
It's like...almost fun!

Yep! Mucho procrastination
. I'm supposed to be doing an assignment right now. I'll get it done somehow, so I'm not too pushed!
Noooo I love history, just at that point in my course where it is tough and having second thoughts. It always happens to me. This thread is perfect for venting those frustrations!

I love it all...
My favourite subject is called: banking and finance.
Very interesting, especially with the economic crisis nowadays! I can almost explain you guys the whole thing
! But I don't think that would be a good idea.
I also like that we are obliged to do languages too... English and French for 2 years and after that we have to choose one language (English, Spanish, French or German).
The only thing I don't like is maths...I know, maths have a lot to do with economics, but I still don't like it!
Offline

Eleintje: I'm just really bad at maths, believe it or not, us accountants rely on our calculators too much! There was far too many forumlas and graphs and it just really didn't make any sense to me! But apparently i've chosen a topic for my dissertaion that may involve some economics so that could be fun!

We had to do some pretty strange classes too - law and business stuff! No point whatsoever as far as we can see!
Seems nobody else is in their final year so far, I guess everyone that is is working and not wasting time on MB like me

Wahey, I'm in the exact same boat, but with programming and not history! I'm meant to be doing a project right now but it's not working

I dislike maths as well so that kind of closed doors on possible courses I could have done. But I'm happy with how things worked out.
InFlames, I'm in my final year. Dont finish till the end of July. A third semester is just evil!
Good luck with the project. I'm soo not in the mood to do this assingment! Hope you do better with yours
