I saw it.  I don't know if the writer of the movie was sure about the main storyline.  It glamorizes designer goods while at the same time trying to preach against irresponsible spending.  Isla Fisher (lead actress, not sure on the spelling of her name) saved it for me though.  She can actually pull off physical comedy, which I find rare. 


I'm going to see Adventureland when it comes out tomorrow, did anyone go to an advanced screening?

zac efron would ruin it for me too jo....he annoys me sooooo much!!
and people actually put him on little girls tshirts. its disgraceful that they are encouraging young girls to wear tops saying "i love zac efron" on them with a picture of his face supersized.

hi not sure if new release is strictly cinema or dvd but i just watched sisterhood of travelling pants 2  (on dvd) and it was good so good that i stopped watching twilight all day to give it a go, no its not as good as twilight but still worth watching

For all my friends in the Twilight thread, I will talk about 'Twilight' and 'New Moon'

Twilight is a really good movie, but not as good as the books! I think Mystic will agree that the special effects werent great. And the relationship is better formed in the book, in the movie they all of a sudden fall in love! Hopefully New Moon will bebetter!

confessions of a shopaholic on the other hand...was...disappointing.
i've read most of the books and i must tell you that there is nothing in the movie that connects to the books. except the fact that she's a shopaholic.
in the books, becky is british. and they emphasize that!in the second or third book she goes to sua and she's very happy there, 'cause she thinks foreign money is like monopoly money therefore she spends it.
and luke is not her boss...she's the boos of brandon communications from the start(not like in the movies where he builds it at the end of the movie).
anyway....i can rant about those books for hours! they're absolutely delicious! a must read for every bimbo;)

I'm waiting for Fast and the Furious 4 and The Star Trek movie!

Fast and The Furious 4 just released today at my place! I'm so excited! I'm waiting for Greta to release.I think 17 again is a nice movie though.

Everyone else - Knowing is great.  Really gripping stuff.  I've gone off Nic Cage in recent years, but this is a fantastic movie and he's done really well in it.  Highly recommended movie!
