Before you start a contest, please read the following rules.
________________________________________________________________________
Fashion Contest Rules:
1
You may have only one contest open at a time. If you have
more than one contest running at a time, the most recent one(s) will be
deleted.
2
You may not offer a prize of bimbo dollars, and of
course, you may never offer bimbo cred.
3
There may be only one contest of a kind at a time. Before
starting your contest, please search for similar contests already
running.
4
No inappropriate content. If you would not like your
grandmother to see your contest, it is probably not a good idea.
5
Do not "bump" your contest or someone else's. This means you
cannot make posts such as "Come on girls, we only need three more!" and
"Does anyone want to join? Please?" in your contest OR another
contest that does not belong to you.
6
You may not post about your contest in another thread. And of
course please do not start an entirely new thread to get people into
your contest or to post results of your contest.
7
Do not send private messages asking people to participate. If
someone wants to be in a contest they know where to seek them out.
8
Contest rounds may only last UP TO 48 hours (72 hours if
'editing' is allowed) from when you start it. Please close them at this
point regardless of participation. Just put something like "The contest
is now closed" at the BEGINNING of the thread.
9
Results must be posted no later than 12 hours after the
contest closes. (It is not guaranteed that a contest thread will be left open
after the contest has "closed". If your thread gets closed, PM the winners with
the results.)
10
Please post results in the same thread. Do not start a new
thread/topic just to announce the results. You can PM one of the
moderators to add "Results added" to the contest title.
11
Contests will be closed as soon as a moderator sees that it is over. If you would like to congratulate the winners, please leave a comment on their profile!
12
French doll/clothes are not to be used in
Contests. Furthermore, they wouldn't fit our doll anyway! (You don't need to keep writing "No French", everybody knows
by now).
13
No 'Reservation' posts.
14
Any players that have 100 posts or less cannot create a new
contest, but are eligible to participate in contests. (If you are found spamming the forum just to increase your number of posts you will be issued an official warning. Try playing some games in the Games and Humor section or participating in some ongoing contests and enjoy the forum for all it has to offer.)
15
Multi-round contests are to be kept to the same thread (When
you open a contest thread, all your rounds will be included in it).
________________________________________________________________________
Other notes:
The Rules are subject to change.
If a contest violates the Rules it will be deleted.
This forum is for Contests only. There are other areas of the
forum for challenges, chat, etc.
The reason for having these rules is to help keep the Contests section
uncluttered and allow players to easily navigate this section of the
forum.
Before you start a contest, please do a search to see if it has been
done before. You should at least be aware if it was previously done
and how it went.
Please clearly post the requirements for your contest.
Example 1: Contest open for 24 hours. Must use the Lady Slipper.
Example 2: Contest open for 48 hours. Editing only! Must wear Yellow!

Signature banners.
Please put them in your "About me" section in your profile, not in your signature. Having too many of these causes signatures to build up. I've had to remove a good few massive signatures that had too many banners in them.
Thanks everyone and have fun!!
If you see anybody breaking the rules of the Contest Section- please
contact Prinncess or Lilroseygirl

Alright I have some questions and hopefully It'll be answered faster in here than writing to support..
It states that contests can be open in 24-72 hours max.. And of course rounds should be kept all in one thread.. Well what happens if someone is doing a multiple of rounds lets say 3 and they're giving 24-48 hours for each round.. Is that just not possible to do because of max time a contest can be open or can we open a new thread for example "Round 2 of Fashion Contest" and just close the other thread.
Hopefully you'll understand what I'm trying to ask because there's already been contests that are going on that just stops after the 1st round thats already given 48 hours. When it initially is supposed to have 3 rounds.. in result no one really wins..
Thanks to anyone that responds

The 48hr for non-editing and 72hr for editing allowed when it comes to a multi-round contest is PER round. The mods don't expect someone to host a 4rd contest in 48hrs.

See thats what I thought, but some people have actually stopped a whole contest maybe thinking that a contest can only run for that time allowed..
BUT see in the rules it states:
9 Contests may only last UP TO 48 hours (72 hours if
'editing' is allowed) from when you start it. Please close them at this
point regardless of participation. Just put something like "The contest
is now closed".

it speaks of each round... moreso than each contest...
so yes... if you have a multi-round contest then each round may go for 24 48 or 72 hours depending on the subject and editing.
