Re: help about laptops

they have these little air gun things that basically blow all the dust out. I don't know what its called though.... but my dad uses them to clean out computers with his buisness.

Re: help about laptops

You can get little handheld vacuum cleaners just for keyboards. Try in homeware shops or online.

A question though, will it damage the laptop if i use like a normal  vacuum cleaner to do it??

Re: help about laptops

I don't think the vacuum cleaner can do any damage as long as you're careful about it. Just to be sure do a quick count on your keys before you start wink

Re: help about laptops

I'm having the same problem Jade!
But my mother just bought a new laptop and she asked for a cleaning set in the store...
There are several tools in it, I'm going to have to take a look and try...

Re: help about laptops

Air in a can + Q-tip > vacuum.

Vacuum would only suck out the dust that's settled,
whereas air-in-can pushes out dust from hard to reach places through impact.

Not to mention with vacuum there's a slight concern of static charge.
