So this is a thread for UK Mummies as Mothering Sunday is this week!

Tell us if you are doing anything special and what you'd like as a gift. Then leave the page open when your other half is around as a not so subtle hint!

I just moved house at the weekend so on Saturday my bf is taking me and Ollie to the garden centre to pick out some things for my new garden! I'm so excited!

This is only my second Mother's Day...I say only...! And I still - repeat STILL - don't have a World's Best Mum/Yummy Mummy mug for my morning cuppa. It's not much to ask so PLEEEEEASE can I have a mug pretty pretty please...
And all I want is a nice quiet day at home with hubby and the boy, I'm a simple soul at heart! sourire

I did already start a Mothers Day thread but obviously it got lost.

I think I will take my pregnancy test on Mothers Day as that would be kinda poetic if I found out I was indeed a mother. Yes, I like my life to have poetry, even when it's not necessarily a good thing..

I am trying to make my mum a card right now but it's still not going well.

Bf and I will be going round to his Mum's house to cook dinner for her on Sunday.

Aw Typh, I didn't know you might be joining the club! Does Aleyah know yet? In fact Ill go ask her....

I found out I was preggers with Ollie on my birthday, which was nice. But it did make it dificult to avoid drinking as I didn't want to tell anyone! People were buying me shots and I had to do them, then spit them back out again!

In the US, Mother's day isn't until May. But for it, I'm painting a gigantic portrait of my great grandmother. It's a task in and of itself but her son/my great uncle asked politely. \

Sunday will be my first mother's day but due to finance's I know I won't be getting/doing much - but that doesn't bother me as I get to spend the whole weekend with the 2 people I love most.

We intend on taking our Lil one for a nice long walk on the Saturday - because bus' can get us to where we want to walk much easier than on a Sunday, and on Sunday we intend on relaxing at home.

Woot??? In my country, Mother's Day is in May... Father's Day, on the other hand, is this Thursday... the 19th of March. I already bought my dad his gift.

yeah its weird how they celebrate them of different days in different countries, my dad loves it though, as he lives in australia which he thinks is good as he technically thinks it means he gets two fathers days. i'm stuck on ideas of what to get my mum though or whether to take her out for lunch or something, she's told me she doesnt want flowers or chocolates though so thats a start.

My mums express wish every mothers day is "go away and give me some peace!"
So we're celebrating it today haha. I went and bought her some flashy lights for her car, baked her a cake and bought her Thierry Muglers "Violet Angel". Thank god she loves it, it cost me a bomb haha!

awwww! lol that's not asking for much!! hope you get it this year smile

i'm in the states so mother's day is not til may but i am so excited!! i'm surrounded by new mommies and mommies-to-be (my SIL!!) it's going to be so fun to make/buy the cards and send them!

Mother's day is in May in Australia .
My mum's birthday usually falls on the same day as mother's day, so she gets extra special spoilt =]
Last year I got her a spa day voucher ... lost for ideas for this year, but I'm thinking shoes. She loves shoes.
