Thanks
It definitely fees a lot healthier. As for the shine - no clue how that happens. My hair has always been shiny. Even when it is full of split ends, it shines haha

I really like your new haircut, but you call THAT short???
It's still below shoulder-length!
it looks great, I like the slightly shorter bangs suit you and the layers give it a lot of edge
My hair is above shoulder-length, it's grown from chin-length, so I dunno, if you call your hair short, I'm bald
it still frames your face in pretty much the same way than before, so maybe that's why people at your work didn't notice much difference.
I like it a lot. You have awesome hair really

And yeah Pipanuttree, I guess it isn't too short. I have had it the length it was at before for at least 2 years, so this is a big change for me. It is so weird having just a small teeny tiny pony-tail

Is your hair naturally that straight? If so I'm incredibly jealous
It looks great in the "befores" and the "afters". I know how you feel about it seeming really short, mine is about as long as yours used to be and ANY time I get it cut I panic about how short it is!! I am hoping to get a new style cut soon, it'll probably be similar to yours with layers etc, I'm just worried it won't look as good because my hair is all wavy and frizzy

Thankfully my hair is naturally as straight as it appears in the pictures. I actually really want wavy hair, but everyone who has wavy hair wants straight hair and everyone who has straight hair wants more wave/body. . .*sigh*
Of course there are a lot of things you can do to smooth it. Not only using a good straightener, but different potions and serums and whatnot. It can be scary getting hair cut off though. I am starting to get use to it.

Its really hot and it makes your cheekbones look fierce.

You look fantastic
*eyes of envy*
Both haircuts looks lovely, the new one is more modern though.

Wow Turtletina, I didn't think it made my hair look damaged. It was more textured in that photo - I added products to it
Thanks Pulp and Zombesque!

Nope, I agree it looks alot healthier and thicker now.
When I read the title I thought you had what happened to me.... I went to the hairdressers, told him I wanted one style and came out with another. My hair is literally about 2-3 inches long now (used to be a little bit longer than yours originally was)
I hate it now.
Anyway back to you! You're stunning and you look lovely either way but the new hair cut definitely gives you more of an edge.

That is brutal uglyprincess! I knew that I was going to have to get a lot cut off since my split ends were horrid, but thankfully my hairdresser knows me pretty well and never does anything completely horrid to my hair.
I was tempted to email this to my hairdresser:

Just the image though. Makes me lol everytime

The worst thing is, is ive been going to him since I was 14 and im now 22. Im never going back though
