Tutorial: How to make banners
This step-by-step tutorial will tell you the simple way of making banners for contest winners and yourself. Used in forum signatures and for your profile.

Step 1:
This is easy. Simply get the picture of the bimbo you want to take a picture of centered in the middle of the screen. Then press the 'print screen' button on your keyboard. For laptops, press Fn and 'print screen' at the same time. Open paint and paste your picture there.




Step 2:
Cut the picture out using the 'crop' tool (first picture). Then right-click and copy it. Undo everything or get a new page and paste the picture there. Leave a gap for the writing and paste the picture wherever you wish. You can do backgrounds too. Just paste the background you want, put the bimbo picture on top of it and again, leave a space large enough for text.




Step 3:
Save the picture as '24. bitmap' as this means the picture isn't blurry. Go to www.picnik.com (what I use, great range of text fonts) and follow the upload steps, upload your picture and go to the 'Create' tab. Then go tothe 'Text' tab and type in your text, choose your font, add the text and change the colour etc.


Step 4:
You are done! You can add shapes and experiment using the different tabs etc. When you are happy with your banner, go to the 'Save and Share' tab. Save it as 'BMP'. Then upload it on flickr or miss bimbo or whatever, and paste the link in the forum and in your signature etc.

(I haven't used pictures for the last two steps because there will be way too many pictures and as I explained to my friend, it's a long process. You can see the one I made in my forum signature - which is below.)

You can use paint and photoshop for fonts and ediing and whatever. I just thought I'd share the site I use so you can all use it. ^_^

How to add your banner to your forum signature
1 - Go to 'My Profile'
2 - Then go to the 'Info' section (the second tab along at the top of your profile)
3 - Go to 'Forum Options' and paste the picture URL there.
4 - Then click the 'update' button, it should now save.

Note: Remember that all signatures MUST be 10 lines or less. Remember this when deciding the size of your banner. Thankyou!
