In the time I have spent on Miss Bimbo I have noticed a lot of people asking about the apartments and if it is better to rent or buy...
I have been unable to find the details about the depreciation of the apartments anywhere on the site so I have gathered the info and put together a new apartment list including the depreciation value for each place
* If you own an apartment, when you go to the real estate you will see something that says 'Valeur actuelle : ### Bimbo Dollars'
This is the amount you will get back if you sell your apartment
Translation: valeur actuelle (french) = present value (english)
The 'My Home' feature is now available and I have added a map for each apartment to the guide so you will be able to see which rooms you have access to in each place!
The bathroom is currently not available to anyone but once it is I will update the maps

wait until the new game day starts to get it?

Wow, if I'd known earlier that it works out so much cheaper I definately would have bought one too! They really should have included that information at the estate agent
I think I'm gonna buy the two-roomed flat now!
Thanks for this!

you won't get any money if you sell it

if u buy the 2 room flat do you still get 120 BA each day ?
and if you want to upgrade later can you buy a different place also or do you have to sell first? and what if the value of the 2 room flat is $0 when you want to sell can you still sell it to upgrade?
sorry for all the questions but I am curious

im not sure, but as far as i know...
if you buy a place and it depreciates to 0 value you can still live there & you still get the BA for it but you will not get any money back when you sell it

go to the 'city' --> then the 'estate agency' --> then select the 'leave my appartment' button
you will receive the amout your apartment is worth minus depreciation
the money usually appears straight away however sometimes it takes a minute or two to show up
hope this helps

Honestly, I don't think it does make that much sense to buy.
I am on game day 153, and I have been renting the two-room flat (which seems like the best BA-for-BD value to me.)
Renting gives me a lot of flexibility and I don't have to worry about depreciation. And even if I had been renting the flat the entire time, I'd have to keep it for 240 days for it to equal out to the amount I paid in rent - I'm going to have to trade up, at least temporarily, to a palace or villa to reach the next level, so I would have had to take a $10,000-plus loss and then re-purchase. It doesn't make sense.
Plus, if the cyber-sink drips in my virtual flat, I can call my cybertronic landlord to fix it.

i think renting would be better bcuz most of us dont hav that much money to spare..(especially me) but i guess its all abt money strategy:D

buying the palace was the best and smartest thing i could have ever done on this game. i get a ton of BA without having to spend thousands of dollar per day. also I'm not even going to even THINK about selling it. now that's dumb. I bought it so that i can hang on to it. therefore, i don't have to ever worry about depreciation.

I have a question that's probably stupid. Do we get the same amount of BD that we paid for the house back when we sell it?
Always. <3Offline
