Yes, you receive a fixed amount once you've quit your job. You only receive it once per job.

how do you get money back when you quit? I'm pretty sure I didn't get any. Also, if you quit a job and then want it bback do you have to go through the training again? I'm a journalist right now, could I quit that job (just to see if i the whole money back thing happens) and then get it back again right away or would I have to train for it for another 30 days?

I need 250 challenges!  Please challenge me!

I can't believe how long training for some of these jobs are! It's crazy. The prices are outragous too. I wish we could have a job and train at the same time. It would be so much easier.I'm on level 26 and I need to buy a flat and get the model job. It took a lot of money buying all those shoes and now my bimbo is nearly broke.

You'll be fine. It just takes time. Enjoy playing the game and working on the goals. There's nothing to rush for. Trust me, the game is a lot more fun when you have goals to work on---even if the goals require planning and patience.

That's not unusual. When you are dismissed from a job, they may give you a sizable check, (in this case severance equals a little more than 8 pay periods) but they don't give you the amount of money you paid to go to college.
