i think itd be great to have highlights or steaks and extensions and more variety of colours, you know like different shades. I also think it could be improved if the straight hairstyles that are already available were properaly straight (as in without that silly flick at the bottom) they would look better.
Some retro hairstyles would be great too.
Ive left some ideas just below.

Dont know if anyone has suggested, But a good might be bangs as a tuft so it can add to any hairstyle? This would look fantastic with a different color than the hair:

There are more hair-styles than can possibly be counted. If we are serious about hair than we should have an ever increasing number of hair styles on a daily basis.
The game operators would be wise to offer some means of allowing the players to draw then upload proposed hairstyles to be expeditiously offered to the MB community.
Game operator, make life easy on yourselves and let us do the work.
