we dont get the BCG any more. it was discontinued this year so we are the first year in my school not to get it. i heard it hurt really bad. i think it was because it was a bigger needle. im so glad i dont get it!
but there have been several TB outbreaks in the last few years, why would they stop it?
My science teacher said we're being used basically as test dummies. To see if the body has grown a natural defense to TB yet - so they don't have to waste money on jabs (lazy country).

I have to get a TB test done for my job the 22nd
I started freaking out once I got in the car.
I have a huge phobia of needles. On several occasions I've tried to give plasma and almost passed out, when I was fifteen and had to get my series of shots before going into high school I actually hit the doctor when she came at me, and my big burly brother like guy friend had to hold me down the second time I went in.

i am going to donate blood when im 18. i dot see why people wouldnt do it (no ofence meant to thoise who dont)
why should we keep blood we dont need when others who desperatly need it dont have enoughThe blood people came to my uni once and I went along to donate but when I was in the queue I started feeling faint and threw up on the floor, so I didn't donate in the end. I was so annoyed with myself. I haven't gone again because they never came back to uni and their usual place is inconvenient for me to get to. But I just moved house, so I'll find out where they do it in this area. I really would like to donate, since I can.
Well I got a letter through the door yesterday saying they are having a blood donation thingy at the church hall tomorrow (Wednesday). Unfortunately when I tried to talk my boyfriend into going he wasn't having any of it (Has possibly had some kind of previous bad experience he doesn't want to talk about, I'm not sure) so I have to go on my own. (I don't know anyone else in this area.) I really want to go but I am scared due to what I said in my last post about being sick last time. I'm kind of getting sick thinking about it, so what do you reckon, should I try to go anyway or should I just accept it's not going to happen for me?
