Any ideas on how to work with this?

Why would you want to fix that?
Wait, do you work with another person that plays bimbo? Because someone had a thread yesterday about a co-worker that always stenchs of perfume. Do you do that?

find out why maybe? or just do your work. its the most important thing so long as you have other friends. if youre clean, nice, intelligent and an effective worker and they still dont like you its their loss. if you job involves a lot of communication then i suggest tlking to any tht seem to particularly dislike you and ask if theres anything you can do seeing as how its unprofessional to let such things in the way of their work. maybe even talk to the mnager though it depends what theyre like. im not sure i would.

You should work really hard and become the boss. Then be a huge jerk to them to pay them back.
Or even better, give them a pay cut.
Or even even better, FIRE THEM!

Make work heck for them. Like the watercooler, make it pump out only burning hot mushroom soap.
Then make mandatory thong and skirt day for the men and for the women make it mandatory for all women to have a buzzcut hair style.
Or you can have a dungeon built. That arranged can be.

Congrats. You're the first person on the forums to make me literally laugh out loud.

Honestly, I'm honoured.

It's wondeful to finally be appreciated. I just hope that she takes our advice and gets back at those workers.

Maybe I should have been more clear as to my work situation.
I work in retail, and our store has about eight employees. I'm new, so I'm at the lowest status. There are four managers, one of them being my boss. Two of the managers seem to dislike me, and today one of them called the other back into the back room and closed the door, and I heard laughter, so I was kind of suspicious but brushed it off. To me, they're very nice people. But it's just obvious that behind their smiles, they'd wish I'd go way.
And then my boss, I've met probably four or five times. He cut my hours (all the way down to about six per week) and when I asked him why, he said people were having to tell me to do things instead of me just doing it myself. I didn't say anything, but my managers are all notorious for standing around doing nothing. So it makes me wonder if they're reporting to him like that only because they don't want me there.
Today, we got an email saying there was a new store opening up and they needed employees. I talked about it with one of the managers who doesn't seem to like me, and I jokingly asked if she would miss me, to which she replied with staring off past me into a corner.
This wouldn't be such a problem if it wasn't going on right in front of my face, or causing me to barely make enough to pay for gas to get to work.
By the way, no, none of them are on MissBimbo. =P

Umm...that was me...and that would be just my luck! Considering we had "the talk". I thought I was respectful, but I think I offender her. *sigh*

When hours get cut where I work it means they're trying to get you to quit. Transfer to the new store.
Thanks. Sincerely.
The next time I work is Friday, so I decided if it's as uncomfortable and horrible as it was today, and if I look at the schedule and have absolutely no increase in hours, than I'll transfer.

Don't take it personally as hard as that may be. These sound like catty, petty people. They've probably worked together for a while and have formed a clique that they don't care to expand. Definitely transfer if you can, but if not, there are plenty of other retail jobs out there for you. Six hours a week is not worth you being miserable. Good luck.

It just wasn't a place for you. I was in the same situation some time ago, but wanted to stay badly. I got fired for saying a bad thing to my coworker. She was writing raports on me for half year, and I trusted her.
It coasted me more than it was worth, got me depressed and I had problems in getting myself to go to work
Try to keep as professional as you can, friendships at work are soooo tricky
Now I'm in conflict with my cooworker which is sad couse I had a good relation with her since January. There are only two of us, and when one wants to take a day off (for me) she should inform the other one. I tried to ask this girl when I could use my free days only to find out that she took all days aruund hollidays 3 months ago. I have some temper so I told there, she shouldn't do it and now she says I make her mother sad... Today she havn't appear, monday she has her day off... I don't know what to think....

I'm fine with my coworkers but my boss in the other way... I think he hates me... And the smaller bosses appearently don't care for me either...
And another thing... One of them has a crush on my coworker friend...
This is a real jungle
