Its never the same when you pirate a game..
I ended up buying wow and wowbc, allso because torrents carry a lot of problems with them from time to time, and then theres the odds of hitting a bad torrent.
It might be free and illegal.. but there will be problems.. plenty of them.

Never had any problems) Maybe its a question of luck)Sometimes original copies justdon't worth it)

The challenge is to develope youre own creature from the cell stage to the stage of conquering the galaxy.) And there are several ways you can do it. Be nice and social or be bloody preditors ore something in between) And the genre changes during the game so is the aim) for example the cell level stage is an arcade where you must survive and evolve to go out of the water, the next stage is where you explore the land and must develope youre brain to learn how to communicate and organise a pack, and so on... the next thing you know you start to build spaceships)

I LOVE Spore, I bought the game a few days ago and it is great, I am still working out how to run my tribe (I think I killed and ate some creates that should have been my allies and I think I should have evolved into a omnivore as a carnivore limits my food options) but hey first try at evolving. can’t wait till I create cities, cars, planes, space craft, then you have different types, trade, war, religious..ect.. Cool game.
so many options and each choice you make now affects how you evolve down the track in ways you can’t predict, many many hrs of fun.
If you love to be creative then go for this game, and yes I agree sims 3 should be great but till then I think that this game goes to some new places and in some very adventures ways. So I would check it out simply because they thought outside the box when making the game. like it or hate it,,, got give them Credit for that ........... 5*****STAR

i got this game 2 days ago. its fun but can be a little confusing because at each stage the gameplay COMPLETELY changes. at the beginning they tell you how to do like EVERYTHING but when you get to the tribe stage and the ones after that it got a bit confusing... but its still alot of fun! i liked making the creatures the most. The Creature stage is probably my fav so far (although i havnt reached the space stage yet... and im looking forward to that!)

Yeah, my fiance downloaded it too! Only problem with torrents is that it gets to be a pain if you want to do online play because supposedly then no one else can install that "copy" of the game if you want to play online with it. Grr. It is such an awesome game though. If I didn't have to leave for a meeting in ten minutes, I'd so be playing that instead of being on here. I just wish I'd been able to have my creature actually be an omnivore after the cell stage. Darn it, I knew I should have eaten more plants!

I think that the space stage is a little confusing in the start, but i think i know how to do now.
If anoyne has questions about how you do stuff then you can jusk ask in here or pm me ill be happy to help. I just cant help with the online thingy cause i dont have the acess

The game is so huge though, my bf is at the space age level and we are having a hard time wrapping our minds around how big it is. At the same time it is so cool getting to design every detail of your creatures.

Quick question to those that have been playing Spore.
Ok, so I made this cool creature and I've been playing with it... anyway, I go into my creations area and click on it... it says "Comments are not allowed on Maxis-created content.
Now... I spent hours collecting all of the parts for it, and all of the DNA needed to create it and people aren't even allowed to comment on it because for some reason the game thinks Maxis created it? (I got a comment on one of my other creatures and would love to see what people think of this little guy)...
Anyone have the same issue or know where to go to find out how to solve it?

hmmm.. I havent heard of that problem but before you go anywhere, is it a copy that you brough from a store or is it an illegal download version?
Cause i think that spore has a homepage with a support section, where you can try to go and search for help in their faq or even whrite to them, but if its an illegal copy its going to be hard to get help. The difference between legal and illegal is the fact that only the legal has online acess due to a unique code that cant be broken by pirates.. yet..

I bought it and lasted about 10 minutes before I got bored. I was really looking forward to playing it as well.
huge disappointment.

only ten minutes?
But sweet girl the gameplay changes later on, come on keep playing the fun increases as you go on land, learn to speak and interact with other creature, become a tribe..
And the space part is a big mind puzzle lasting for days
comeone leave it abit and come back
it will be fun.
It kinda turns from an stragety rpg to a more pure stragegyspace game
- based on what i have seen this far.

I don't know, I think it's a little too time consuming. I'm not really one for sitting and playing games all day. I felt my IQ dropping a little bit.
