Still, it sounds good to be doing something you love for a living. I see what you mean about the quality of the photos-but they're both good (just on different merits!).
Yeh it is good, I just wish I could print photos without having to deal with stupid customers who over edit their already crappy photos and then blame me for them looking horrible lol

Anyways rant over
Do you work in photography, or just a hobby?

Great photos... I think it's just a matter of focusing... otherwise both the views are cool...

Lol I wish, it was definitely the camera though, I had to send it back three times because the shutter wouldn't work properly, it kept sticking

Oh..this is terrible... Sorry to hear it.
It's ok, I brought a new camera that I love, I just wish I hadn't spent so much on the first one that keeps breaking down!

I don't work in photography but I did some at school and loved it and now when I go anywhere on holiday or go to a social event I get as many snaps as I can! I like trying to get a photo that's a bit different from the one you expect-like playing with angles and colours and stuff-it keeps the photos interesting (at least I think so!!) and you're not left with the same photos as everyone else. Although I do also take the obvious photos just like every other tourist!!!

I love this thread! I can't post my most breathtaking pics because they are of my children.
Rest assured, they are quite lovely!

Lol I know what you mean, my camera is always in my bag, no matter where I am and what I'm doing I'm always prepared

Oh, this is so fun! All the photos are great. I will enter next week for sure, any thing that would qualify as a "breath taking moment" in my collection is on film, and I am no where near those pics or a scanner. Actually, all my best pics are on film, but I think I have some pretty good ones from my digital camera.
Keep them coming, I love seeing every one's work!

Im glad people are enjoying the thread! I'd like a little icon to put in my signature to link people to it-is that possible or even allowed? How would I do it and does anyone here have a suitable little pic I could use for it? Im open to ideas!
JuliaJ- maybe you could post your next best photos! I'll bet the ones you can't put up are lovely!

How can you say it's not as good as the others!?! It's absolutly stunning! Don't put yourself down....in fact...
NEW RULE for the thread: you can't put your own work down because chances are we'll all think it's fantastic ( and art is subjective anyway!)
Thanks for your post Meam!

Thanks!!! I'm pretty new at this. I've always liked taking pictures, but I've just recently really gotten into it.

This was just one of the photos i took on my step mums and dads wedding day, she didnt know i was taking it, which is why i like it so much, because its more natural... i also love it because i designed the stain glass behind her

This is totally unedited which is why i like it, i think it looks like its been tampered with.
Its a shame that its not straight, but again a natural one that i love
