what to get him??

its my boyfriends birthday on saturday and he's 19
he has no hobbies and basically no life except getting drunk
i'm leaving him in september to go to uni and do something with my life and in a way i feel bad because he's just been over drawn and is flat broke and has nothing if i go. I want to get him something to cheer him up but i cant spend much money cause i have to save up for loan costs. Any ideas

A bottle of Jack Daniels or a keg or heiniken. It's like 15quid at Asdas. It will cheer him up and he won't need to spend too much getting drunk for at least a day.

Also just because your going to uni doesn't mean you'l be doing something with your life, you'l be a scrounging student like the rest of us!!!! Hahahaha! big_smile

wait - are you just leaving him physically to go to college, or are you LEAVING him, as in permanently? if it's permanent, get him nothing and break up with him now! you sound like a smart, motivated person - does someone with no hobbies or interests other than drinking even deserve someone like you?

(sorry for being so negative, but your post didn't describe any of your bf's good qualities...)

Well I think you shjould by the regular stuff, t shirt, wallet, hmmm something like that but the best you could do is seriously talk with him about his future, i mean if he wants to have one.
