but if you live together for more than 3 months ( i think) aren't you considered common law husband and wife? which leaves you entitled to everything of his and vice versa.
that really depends on what country you live in, then many ties I find what part of that country as laws can be wildly different on that subject.

me and my my partner have two kids and we are not married, and we wanted kids first we will probably get married when the kids are old enough to understand it more, at the moment though there is no rush as a piece of paper is not going to make much of a difference we already love each other
