Just wanted to know who yall would prefer to wear...Would you wear a beautiful uncomfortable dress or an ugly comfortable dress to a party?

Well, my bim would choose the ugly comfy dress, and I'd choose the pretty uncomfortable dress.

I'd stay at the party for as long as I could bear wearing the dress, and when I got home I'd get out of it as fast as possible!

If the uncomfortable dress is so uncomfortable I'll get hurt by it, like bruise's and red marks and stuff (Too tight! Too tight!) I'll rather use the ugly one. sourire

To me it depends on the type of party and who was going to be there. If it was going to be friends and fam...I would sport comfort over beauty if I needed to impress i would SUCK IT UP and be uncomfy....Until i got home and wripped it off...LOL

Uncomfortable dress.

Mostly because the greater the alcohol intake, the less painful the dress will become.

That's just me though. I usually wear jeans and a tshirt to parties though.

I'd rather be comfortable. Besides, you can always dress up an ugly dress and call it "couture". You can't however go naked if you get too hot. Unless it's one of "those" types of parties...

party, everyday, whatever. I'd pretty much always take the hot dress, regardless of how uncomfortable. Maybe I just have a high tolerance for pain, but I just feel so much happier when I know I look good. I actually have worn shoes so uncomfortable for so long that my toes were numb for six months afterwards.

It depends on what kind of party. If it is a dance party, with a laid back atmoshpere, and nothing but close friends I would definitly wear the ugly comfy dress (believe me, there is always a way to make an ugly dress cute). If I am going to a party to meet new people, again, I would wear the ugly dress, as it is scientifically proven that people who are comfortable in their clothing always make the best first impression. Yeah, I probably woudn't wear the hot dress at all unless I was going to be pretty much sitting the entire time or it is a red carpet event.

I'd wear whatever looks best on me. There are many dresses that look disgusting on the rack, but on certain people, with certain accessories, they look amazing.

But, for the sake of playing along, I would go with the beautiful, uncomfortable, dress.

I'd probably wear neither and call around my friends to get a comfortable and pretty dress. Though, if push came to shove I'd wear the uncomfortable dress and keep nipping to the loo to undo it and relax every now and then. Or, I'd customise the ugly one and make it pretty.

Exactly! People are soo obsessed with what everyone else looks like and are soo quick to judge. Besides everyone wants to look good!
