'Worst site ever, ur so full of yourselves, every page is about you! Neva going on this site again'

They said it was by 'Masked messenger' '????'

I don't think I've ever been cyber bullied in real life. nor have I seen it in particular. but I have heard the stories and heard the complaints but never had it happen to me. . .

I was bullied on a few forums, but I was blamed for it.

I'm glad this thread is here.

There was a 13 year old in Missouri who committed suicide after she was cyber bullied by the woman next door.

Re: Cyber Bullying advice from one bimbo to others PLEASE READ

This topic is great! I'm 23 right now, and I've had the dubious pleasure of being cyberbullied by a group of fellow student and their internet friends for the last 1,5 year or so. It was completely pathetic - adult people! They followed my on my blogs, IRC and my social networking sites, left stupid comments, photoshopped pictures of me, trolled, called names, laughed out... simply because I have strong opinions on animal and human rights! Call that pathetic. It hurt a lot at the beginning, but then I decided to ignore it, and eventually they got bored. I didn't really know what else could I do.

Hello,
This is some advice kindly sent through from bimbo Bexx3of4

Cyber Bullying: A guide to keeping yourself safe on the Internet:

What is Cyber bullying?
Cyber bullying is when someone uses a mobile phone, the internet or other similar technology to be verbally or emotionally abusive towards you.

Emails
If you send abusive emails to someone, or to a group of people who may then join in the bullying.
Emailing inappropriate videos and other inappropriate content including viruses is also classed as cyber bullying.

Instant messaging and chat rooms – such as forums, MSN messenger
Using instant messaging and chat rooms to send threatening or abusive messages to someone and asking others to join in. If you use another person's account to send abusive messages to others, without their permission.

Social networking sites – such as Bebo, Facebook and MySpace
Creating fake profiles for people or leaving abusive messages on existing profiles for others to see. Encouraging others to abuse someone through their profile. In certain cases if you see something abusive or are encouraged to bully someone and don’t report it you can also be classed as a cyber bully.

Mobile phone
Sending abusive text, video or photo messages as well as sharing videos of physical attacks on individuals (happy slapping or blue jacking etc).

Abusing personal information
Posting photos, personal information or fake comments and blogs on websites where they can be seen by anyone without your permission.

This Information is taken from the Childline Website
http://www.childline.org.uk/Info/Online … lying.aspx

Keep safe on Miss Bimbo and other places on the Internet.

Miss Bimbo has loads of helpful advice for keeping you safe on their site. Here are some extra tips to help all you Bimbos out there.

• Treat the Internet like a real place. Your actions can affect people online just as they would in real life.
• Use a nickname or create an online name - never use your real name.
• It is a good idea not tell anyone any personal things about yourself or your family.
• Never give out your address or phone number.
• Miss Bimbo has rules about using photos of yourself if you are under 18.Other websites often do not monitor things like this. Instead of posting a photo of you, you could use a picture you like or a photo of your favourite band instead. (or your Bimbo!)
• Don't post any photos or videos that you wouldn't be happy for your parents, teachers or your own children etc... to see. Once they are up online they can be copied and posted in other places where you can't get rid of them.
• Keep your passwords private from everyone.

Getting Help
If you feel that you are a victim of cyber bullying, there are lots of ways that you can get help.
Like any form of bullying – telling someone about it is often the hardest step. The first step to helping yourself is telling someone. This can be someone you trust, the website provider.
Most people can be tracked on the internet and website owners can block peoples account from their computer address. This means they can’t use their computer to create a new identity.
In some cases the police might have to get involve. An example of this is recording things like ‘Happy Slapping’ on your mobile and passing the picture on to others.
The most important thing to remember is that there is something you can do about cyberbullying.

Keep yourself safe online. The following links have more information on cyber bullying.
