How do you get boots over trousers?

How do you get boots over trousers?
Everytime I try and do an outfit with trousers and boots, the trousers appear over the jeans....I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the boots over the jeans, can anyone help me please?
And I did look through some topics but I figured it would possibly be quicker to just ask.
Any advice/help appreciated-thanks!

When you go into your room select the outfit that you want to wear, when you come out of your room it will automatically put your boots over your trousers. HTH
I accept all no stake challenges....i will consider reasonably staked ones......certainly not ones for 1000BD

It works for me i've just put boots over my trousers 
I accept all no stake challenges....i will consider reasonably staked ones......certainly not ones for 1000BD

Then clearly your boots are the exception. Have a look at my ouitfit, the boots I have on are stuck under the trousers.

what is your problem? I was only tring to help her i was not aware that there was a bug ok, wind your neck in.

All I was saying to Dimmo that there's been a problem for a while, I really don't understand why you have a problem with this...
