Green and Red, but not Christmas-themed (Results added)

Green and Red Contest

Your challenge is to create an outfit using red and green clothes. It can be any style you like, but it must not look Christmassy.

Rules
epingle French and Nine's allowed.
epingle No editing, except to remove cupboards and pet tails.
epingle Gold and silver accessories allowed, but no other colours aside from red and green.
epingle Multiple entries allowed.
epingle Contest runs 48 hours.

Results

Apologies for the delay.

I think the problem with combining colours like red and green is that both colours can be so bright and so vivid. If you're not careful the colours compete with each other and you only see the colours, not the outfit itself. There are ways of getting around it - you can rock the clash, divide the colours somehow or diminish one colour - perhaps by only using it for an accent, or using a muted version of one of the colours so that the other colour can reign supreme.

Anywho, that's the way I see it.

Nine's Winners

1st - Xxsabrinaxx - Outfit #3 is a really beautiful, elegant and simple outfit. I thought it stood out from the rest.

2nd - LaceyCrystal - I really love the use of the muted green colour combined with the bright red accessories and jacket. It means that the green and red aren't competing with each other and makes the outfit work. It's also a very sexy yet casual outfit.

3rd - Ggaiaa - I liked how you confined the red to the upper half of the body and the green to the lower half. It could have cut the body in half, but here I think it prevents the red and green from competing or clashing with one another too much. In addition, the outfit itself looks both casual and sophisticated.

French Winners

1st - Poizen - great outfit. It's simple, but it works.
2nd - LaceyCrystal - both French outfits are awesome. I think I slightly preferred Outfit #1 because the colours seemed to be in harmony.

Congratulations to everyone who took part and especially the winners.
