Name of Outfit: "Bimbo Bling Luncheon"

My bimbo, Inadaze, believes there is no such thing as too much bling. She has been known to deliberately start fights with her boyfriend because he knows the only way to make up with her is to buy her more bling.  And chocolates!

This is her outfit to have lunch with her bimbo friends so they can ooh and aah over her latest bling, the gold cuff, that she just got from her boyfriend.

My bimbo loves her skinny jeans in black and her white corset, but she cant go out anywhere with out her bling!

I, Maebelyne, wanted to represent fashion with trends vs. being original and how that can be mixed together to create something really cool. I also wanted to incorporate the "bling" theme into my trends/originality theme because I felt that "bling" can be thought of as a trend or people can be original with it and make it their own.
My outfit ends up being a bit stereotypically girly (even though I'm not usually into that sort of thing); I was actually thinking more of strawberries and other summer fruits (yay for summer) and that's how I ended up with a lot of red and pink (and a strawberry-patterned purse).
Anyway, sorry for the long blurb, and I hope you enjoy the outfit!!

Haute Victorian Inspired Couture



A fem top paired with a sleek pant and over the top accessories!

Bold colors on top and in her jewelry turn her grandmother's favorite old hat into a chic statement.   An understated gray skinny jean tucks into a new take on a classic black shoe.  Kachi's outfit is fun and fresh; she's ready to hit the museums during the day and the clubs at night, with a sleek purple jacket so she won't get chilly when she steps out for some air or a smoke break.

While everyone here is enjoying the hot summer weather, I am thinking forward to winter. I predict the "in" color will be green. There's no reason to not be stylish while bundling up for the cold! It is too bad, however, that Nine's doesn't sell gloves. At least that coat has nice warm pockets!

While creating this styling i tried to figure out a way how to bling in everyday life and at work, without crossing the line (since overdressing at work is a "no-go").
I kept in mind the simple rule of recurring colours, chose a simple make-up and warm colours. These go well with the black briefcase - an essential basic for every business woman.

so my bimbo can't lie...she's just not that into skinny jeans (although she can appreciate them on other people) and she's not ostentatious...she doesn't like to flaunt her bling...what she DOES like to do is flaunt her extravagant taste in a subtle, yet expensive way...her bling is in the quality of her clothes and the way she carries herself as she wears it, not in the flashiness...so TA-DA!!

This is Simply Chic. She's elegant with an eye for detail.
