Hello bimbos,
This week has seen the sale in nines and also our first fashion industry contest. For those bimbos who really are bimbo enough to have missed it here you are:
http://www2.missbimbo.com/forum/f35,1-f … ntests.htm
Stunc (the brand who are judging and giving a prize) were completely blown away with the response. They never imagined they would get 1000 entries and Lun Wong (the designer) said they were up all night last judging the contest and choosing the winners. They havent quite finalised their winners yet although he has promised me he will e-mail me tomorrow with the results. I will then put them up on the thread. The winners will then receive their Stunc merchandise.
Also we have found another fashion label who have given us a great prize for the next contest which we will put up soon! Watch this space......
What else has been happening? Nico has been adding more clothes so that we are up and ready for our integration and aligning with our French partners. So that is all on course and looking good.
We have also been approached by companies in China, Bulgaria and Chile who want to make Chinese, Bulgarian and Spanisg versions of Miss Bimbo. We are looking into it as it seems their are bimbos all around the world!
We are also going to start a competition - its called 'find the good article about Miss Bimbo competition??'
Nico and I were scouring google and realised just how many rubbish articles about Miss Bimbo their are on the net. All written by lazy journalists who didnt even have the professionalism to check the site and really understand it. We are waiting for the first ever positive article or even article written by a journalist that has actually understood the site! Free bimbo dollars to the first person who finds one and sends me the link! Actually I wouldnt waste your time searching amongst all the tosh as you'll be searching forever!
Anyway see you next week,
Chris

More or less a review than an article though ; http://looks-cool.co.uk/games/Miss-Bimbo.html
These two seems positive and highlights the criticisms made and understands that MissBimbo is just a game; http://lsvp.wordpress.com/2008/04/01/go … bad-girls/

Well, negative press is what brought me here, and it's the best publicity ever. And as I was reading the negative press, I wasn't even thinking, how horrible, I thought, "how fun!" They finally made a virtual paper doll game. If people have a problem with this game, it has to do with the mindset the possess and is not a problem with the game itself.
I found this article to be pretty unbiased and reasonable: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23851531/page/2/
People jump on the bandwagon when it comes to media trend so one bad press probably lead to a trickle of more bad press with journalists doing little first-hand research. But the constantly growing Bimbo community is a testimony that more people are enjoying this game than are being thwarted by the media outcry. The MSNBC article that I sited concludes sensibly:
"In the end, we need not fear for Miss Bimbo destroying the future for our daughters. We only need recall the wise words of British comedian Marcus Brigstocke, who chimed in on the alleged dangers of computer games ages ago. “Computer games don’t affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we’d all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive music.†"

I remember hearing that quote about Pacman!!
Great quote, indeed.
I mean, games can affect people a bit, but it's really nature and nurture (not vs. - both play a part). Both how a person's brain is wired and how the person is raised (mostly parenting and teaching from parents and family and teachers and close friends is what influences people the most) is what mainly plays into how a person turns out. Computer games play a very small part in the grand scheme of that.
