I think it's hilarious that most people on here heard about MissBimbo from all the negative press. The creators must be loving all the free publicity they got.
The people who make the news don't seem to have figured out that this kind of thing happens yet, or if they have they don't care.
Personally I just saw two of my friends talking about it on Facebook and thought it sounded like fun. (I was reading their wall-to-wall because I noticed one of them had said to the other that she was getting a job as a hairdresser, I was like whaaaaat, it turned out she meant in the game.)

Level 14 here, also. I too heard about it on the news and came to check it out. I love it and I'm addicted.

I stumbled across Miss Bimbo very late one night and I registered, then I forgot all about it until I got an email saying my "bimbo" had died. So I came to the site to see what the email was about and ended up getting a new bimbo. She is pampered and spoiled and very cool.

Ha - yep, I picked it up when the parents were complaining about it so the media ran articles about it.
I have heard many times negative attention is great advertising... I think this proves it.
All those parents really made MissBimbo survive - as many of us joined thanks to them and have spent money on here...

I thought is would be fun to share how everyone heard about MissBimbo.com. Me first!
So one night I was watching the late night news while I was sitting in bead on ly laptop, and I heard that there was this big controversy over this website called www.missbimbo.com and that it is this bad influence on kids and all that, so I decided to check it out. For some reason it caught my eye enough that I created an account and started to play. I am 23 and have no kids so I definitally don't have any qualms about playing the game, and to be honest I LOVE it. The funny thing is I was going to the website to basically se how dumb the website was, but is turns out that I am totally addicted now. I guess I just love the chase of another level. i am on lever 14 now so I hope that they continue to add more and more levels so that I never have to leave the game.
So thats my story and I can't wait to hear all your stories.

EXACT same thing happened to me, i heard something about this site on a BBC countdown of things that upset people or something, i couldn't get on at first as it caused the site to get too much traffic and i waited a few days for it to calm down, i signed up and now im addicted, its sad really lol i just sit here faffing with the look of my bimb till i think she looks nice, then repeat over again! Im not that high in level yet though im 11 and im trying to get 200 challenges done, im on 106 won so far ACK!!!! >.<!

I read about it in a magazine. People were acting like it was the plague or something, so I had to check it out, and I'm glad I did

Another one who found it through the negative press that was around a few months ago, if anyone asks it was to do research and discover whether the negative press was justified. well it wasnt and 19 levels and 172 days later im still here!

Same here - I had heard about the site earlier this year, & I decided to take a peek; I couldn't access the site at all, however, I guess due to the curiosity that the media had incited.
Let the naysayers rant - I'm glad to be here

I read a negative article online about Miss Bimbo. It was the source of so much controversy, so I had to check it out for myself… but now I’m addicted! Kinda funny how that works. People complain and make a big stink and tell you to stay away… and it ends up drawing more people in! Lol. BTW… The people who wrote that article and the people who complain about Miss Bimbo are too sensitive and have nothing else better to do!

That is so funny! Me too! I heard all the controversy on Good Morning America and decided to check out the web site and fell in love with it ever since!

Another neg press here....I work with kids and thought I ought to check out this demon site....What a beat up in the press!!! Having said that, I wouldn't advocate the 12 (years) and under brigade playing without supervision/guidance.....The words parental responsibility jump out at me. Don't get me started on that topic (shuts up before she starts rambling!)

My home page at the time was set to msn.com... On there, I seen a story link about Miss Bimbo and all the controversy it was causing... I clicked on it to read it... and that's how I found Miss Bimbo! Haven't left since! ;-)

My sister invited me - (she is Sleeeza on the game) and I have been addicted ever since! Love the game!

Heard about it on another website, and since I am a sucker for this kind of games, I registered. I didn't expect, that I would still be playing it, but as you can see, I am!
The mediafuzz hadn't really reached Denmark, when I first registered. But a week later, our socialstudy-teacher brought it up.
