I think most English people heard about it through Shout. Like it's not usually my kind of magazine, but my mom works in a library &she was busy and i had to wait for her, so i picked up the best reading material in the shop (that means the place, the library, you know) which happened to be a baby's mag - Shout! So i flicked through all the old pages until i saw a page about Miss Bimbo that caught my eye. I read through it, got onto a library computer and checked it out. I liked what i saw, i reviewed it, i put the review on my website, i told a few friends to join (ugh and no i didn't realise there was a link you could send to your friends and get stuff from if they joined at that point), and just started playing. I stopped playing for a while and my bimbo died haha. So i reset instead of resurecting or whatever. :)

I was on a forum I frequent regularly, and there was a thread started about here. I thought it sounded completely awful, and a couple of weeks later I went to sign up to see if it was really as bad as people were making out. Turns out it's not, and it's a bit addictive!
It's sort of funny -- all that news coverage slamming it must have brought a LOT of business to the site.

I saw it on the Today Show. They did a story on how it was some horrible thing corrupting the minds of young girls so I had to check it out and now I'm totally in love with it!!! That just shows that even bad press can be good press.
