I can understand that, it's not the easiest thing to do to go and talk to someone you don't know, in case they do knock you back, but if you don't try you don't know.

Oh dear, I certainly didn't intend to be mean to you, Nat.  I was trying to capture what I thought was the mindset, but in retrospect it looks a lot like complaining.  True, I don't enjoy much luck, but that's neither here nor there.  Everyone has their own different problems and I didn't mean to put yours down.  I'll tone it down in the future, that's my promise
