I have similar plans - few days at the lake but I don't know when for now =] I hope to find a summer job in August, maybe September but it's up to employers.

Maybe you have some ideas about in what profession students can get a part-time job? Cause I can't make anything sensible... Beforehand I just can say that I would rather not work with money... (have bad experiences).

Matura, matura... Sounds scarry. I'm gonna pass it next year, but I don't know what subjects to choose. Which did you choose?

Karolajn, I'm not good at maths or physics, I wad thinking about history, wos or biology. Luckily I've still some time to make up my mind :-)
Lovelka, why you said it had been a mistake? Are you satisfied with your results?

I think that You should think about what You want to do in the future and then pick up some university/other school - then You should check what subjects they want... And If You don;t know what kind of profession You could pick (like me...) then You should choose these what You like most =]

I chose biology, chemistry and Polish because I wanted to have a variety of choice - I though about veterinary and psychology, but I end up on sociology... I have milion ideas for life and a flash in the pan...

hehe just like me. i wanted to go to the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, but finally im on poznan university of technology ;P i just didnt know what should i choose ;P

I pass my matura. Maybe I can go to the University becouse my results are rather good...

I want go to Poznań but I don't have money. I must stay in Wrocław and live with my parents... Wrocław is great for student

You're right, definitely! It's just... I'm affraid that if I choose the subjects that I like and then the studies that I find interesting I might have problems wiht finding a job. I was thinking about psychology, English philology (but I don't thing I'll be a good teacher on interpreter), and law (but You know how it is in Poland - it's far more easy when You've got 'connections', which I haven't got, so I'll just have to be veeery lucky to get such a job). I'll have to pass history, wos, and biology (all on extended level), but I'm not sure if it wouldn't be too much to learn by hard
My mum suggested yesterday that I should go to Akademia Ekonomiczna, and that's not a bad idea, I've been thinking about it recently, but I'm sure maths is gonna kill me! 
Some people try to 'cheer me up' saying: 'nowadays one course of studies isn't enough. you can choose any subject you want, you'll have to choose another one anyway '
But thank You, MaiYun, and all of you guys. It's really hard to decice what you wanna do in your life when you're only 18. It's good to know that I'm not the only one who hasitate

Only one year!? I wouldn't say so! Really, Your English is not bad as You've been learning for such a short time. We can understend You without any problems

I think I'm not the right person to correct Your mistakes 'cause my level of English is still poor (I've been learning it for 8 years now!), so I won't have a try. But don't worry about the mistakes. You don't know some of the grammar structures You should have used yet, so You just couldn't have written everything correctly
Just keep on learning. English is very useful nowadays. I keep my fingers ccrossed for You!
