I have 11 tattoos and am working of pulling them together as a sleeve. THey are all meaningful to me and are very girly but still big and bold at the same time. i am pulling it all together with hearts to signify the love that brings them all together. My other arm is completely music related but only has one tat so far.
I think if you are unsure of what you want to get then you shouldnt get anything because then you end up regretting it but if you are 100% sure then just go for it!!
Each to their own and all that.

I like ear pieceing and maybe belly button piercing but i dont really like it anywhere else i think thats when it starts to get a little tacky! I dont like tatoos because you might like it at first but then when they fade and they start to look a bit tatty you might regret having one!

My opinion on tattoos is, you should only get a tattoo that will look good at your most casual and your most formal. I want to get a phoenix at some point, because that's my lifestyle. But I would never get it huge and extravagant like some people do. I want to look traditional at my wedding, and tattoos doesn't help that.
I read that and totally agree... I recently went to my bf's college graduation ball. And I kept thinking I was going to dress fancy, and how would I deal with having my shoulderblade tattoo uncovered.
I have the tragedy and comedy greek theatre masks in my tattoo, so it's a kind of a more "formal" design, and it fit right with the emerald-green dress and all. You can have tattoos and look elegant, not sleazy, even in the big fancy events.
...knowing that about 10 years from now if I'm in that sort of event, because I'll be on my thirties, I'll tend to find dresses that will cover it... I guess it's all about seeing if it fits right or not... and good taste

I have 7 tattoos and 6 piercings.
I got my first tattoo when I was 16. I was probably a bit young but I did take a year deciding what I wanted and out of all the ones I have only one of my tattoos was done on a whim. I think no matter what age a person is a tattoo should be considered very seriously as it is permanent. Laser removal shouldn't even be an option when you're thinking about getting a tattoo - if it even crosses your mind then the design isn't right for you, or you're not ready to commit yourself to a tattoo. Besides, laser removal doesn't work as well as people thing - there's a lot of scarring and a lot of colour left behind, but it just looks faded and in general worse than whatever you were trying to get rid of.
I think 18 is possibly still too young an age limit for tattoos, but at the same time there are some people who are mature enough at that age to not get something that in a couple of years they'll want to be rid of.
Also, I think that people who get small tattoos for the sake of having one really should double think. You might want a bigger tattoo on that spot one day and then you're pretty screwed. And I think names and initials should be avoided since its pretty much a death sentence for the relationship. I've seen it happen a million times!
I see no problem with getting piercing done as young as 13 - but of course the age limit of anything "below the belt" (nipple, genitals etc) should stay with 16 being the youngest. But getting your ears done and facial piercings (or surface piercings etc) I have no problem with them being done younger. Piercings after all are not permanent they can be taken out.

That's amazing!! I've seen people who have had laser tattoo removal and it looks as if they've got third degree burn scarring. I surprised that you have no scarring at all as it is burning your flesh... good for you
I don't plan on getting any of my tattoos removed. I wen through enough pain having them done, i'm not about to put myself through worse to have them undone

I like them on other people, I just can't see it work for me. Weeell, maybe one little tattoo somewhere on my back when I get older. But, wait a sec, I am 26, that is old. Yes, but I'm still not sure I would like it in few years (even thou it's the same tattoo I think about since I was like 12). So, I guess it's not that smart to get your in early ages, but... That's just me.

If your going to get a belly button peircing you better hope you don't get knocked up or it will stretch like a mother fucker.
Tattoo's and peircings are supposed to be self expression. Stop hating.

i started piercing myself when i was 12 years old and now i got 21 total and i dont regret any of them and im planning on getting more...ive also got 4 tattoos and im gonna get more of those too

I think that they are both good in moderation.
If you have a couple, they look good.
But if you get waaaay too many, they can look trashy.

lol yeah i've seen some bad removal, but my doctor will only let me come in every two months. that's part of the reason it's healing so well. also, he won't do super intense laser sessions which can cause scarring, he sets the laser at a level he feels comfortable with while some doctors turn it up higher to achieve drastic results in less time. personally, i don't mind the expenditure of time and money as i don't want to be scarred at all.
and i love tattoos, i've only chosen to remove the more obvious ones. eventually i want my legs, down to my knees covered, my stomach, and my back... basically everywhere but my butt and boobs lol

I would like a tatoo in my inner lip. But my parents won't allow it. Möp. Well. And I don't like peircings. Especially the Bellybuttom-Ones.. Dont know why, but I think they look cheap. I think nose rings can be cute and I like lip piercings on guys...
Tatoos. Just small ones.
