Facial Peircings..

Whos desperate for some peircings, of any sort realy but their parents or work wont let them!
im getting my belly done soooon but, grr im DESPERATE for my lip atm... mum said no untill im like older wich i can understan. But jsut wanted to know if any of you were aslo in this position.

Well, the only other piercing I would get would be a belly one, but my mum thinks that piercings are "common". hmm

Don't be so desperate. Your lip will be there in a few years.
I got my first piercing at 12 and still continue getting them. But I'll tell you, they're not for anybody that goes to most public schools, any private school, and people that refuse to clean it.
If you want to get it because it's "cool" you need to back off because it will inhibit your ability to tell yourself it's time to go. Eventually, everything will be retired for one reason or another.
Why shove a needle through your skin if you're going to take it out for work in a couple of years?

Like Aristes says, dont get it because its cool.
I got my lip done when I was 12 just because all my friends wanted it done.
None of them actually got it done, but I somehow decided to shove a needle through my lip during class (STUPID idea, NEVER EVER EVER do it).
I love it now though, fun to play with in my mouth when I'm bored.
But, I've found that when I'm 'desperate' for something, its usually some passing fade.
Eventually your fascination will fade.

my work won't let me have my facial piercings in....i just take them out while i'm there...but i have my nose pierced and i looove it. I know a lot of people have it now...but it's still one of my favorite piercings (i have 8 others)...

I had my nose pierced and I LOVED it but I had to take it out for school/work and I never got it repierced. sad...

Oh i dont work so that doesnt bother me as of yet. Might though in a year or two.
It kind of was said rong.. im not DESPERATE jsut Realy Realy Want it.
And im not getting it because its coool.. jsut because its something i want..
Anyone have there hips,? What sort of troubles do u have with it.?

If a piercer ever, ever pierces your hips at your age, they deserve to be barred from that profession.

i love my two lip piercing but i do have to take them out for work they wont even let me have clear bars in anymore! which sucks the most because my middle 1 closes over so quick so every break i find myself having to repierce my lip hurts but i aint gona lose it just cuz of my job

Tons of ways to pierce yourself, not all of them safe though.

I waited until I was 18 to get piercings and a tattoo! You don't need to wait so much but a tattoo at 14 sounds wrong to me O__o

It kind of is.
I had discreet piercings when I was 13, and my first tattoo when I was 16. And even then, I think I was too young. kek.
I kind of regret the placement of my tattoos now.

Yes, when you regret a piercing you just take it off but tattoos are different!

Well.
My first, no.
My second is on my arm. It was a desperate act of love(HA) when my ex died. I thought it'd make me feel better, but it didn't.

Annnd I got stars on my hands.
I always wanted them there, but I got them for the wrong reasons at the time. My ex wanted to do something "fun" with me. He decided "Hey. You should get my name tattooed on you!"
So I decided "Hey! You're a retard. I'll match the stars on your shoulders!"

And so, I have a piece of forever-ink marking a bad, bad person. lol
I'm going to add onto it eventually to make it my own. Might as well, it's already there.

I'm a master of makeup though. I can cover it all easily.

I love stars tattoos- even if they're for the wrong person! I love stars on the shoulders but I know I won't get them tongue

Mine is on the nape so it's pretty discreet, but I would have choosen a completely different design now! Maybe I can try to change it someday.

posh totty: with your belly button that you want: id say wait MINIMUM of a year. seriously! i got mine done when i was 16 after thinking about it for like 6 months. aafter about another 6 months i decided that i didnt really want it but i realised if i took it out there would be a scar. two years later, i still have it and im really unhappy about it! not that im saying that this will happen to you but id say think about it for AT LEAST a year!

You can easily take out your belly ring and let it heal over. smile
Since it hasn't rejected and you haven't ripped it, the scar tissue will be minimal and you can hide most of it with Maderma scar treatment, or cocoa butter.
My mom's belly ring ripped out and rejected the rest of the way and left a nasty purple scar. But you can hardly see it now.

i also want my tounge peirced.. not for any specialll reasons lol, jsut for the sake of like playing with it, but thats not a good enough reason wich is why im not getting it. Im scene and like peircings.. I CANT HELP IT : [
