Hi I know how to play the mastermind game but the white and grey pegs do not always represent what they are supposed to. Has anyone else noticed this?
Sometimes it will say I have a colour in the right place but when the final answer is shown none of the colours are the same as the ones I have chosen even though the white peg indicates I have at least one right!!

they arent in order and arent supposed to be....if you get a white one then it means that any one of the colors you guess could be right, not just the one its in the place of.

oo sorry I am not explaining myself very well. When I get a white peg, I thought that it was supposed to mean that you have any one of the colours correct and in the right place. But the colours in the answer are completely different colours not just in a different order.

Hi, Bexx -
It sounds like you are saying that when you see the solution it has different colors than the game said would be there. If this is what is happening, I'm afraid I can't help since this has never happened to me.
I just wanted to make sure there was no misunderstanding about the white peg indicating the actual position of the right color.
Good luck!
Thanks for replying, unfortunately this has been the problem a few times!!
