My God, those American and Anglosaxon norms of "ethnicity" are so crazy!!! I'm Polish and I live in UK now, every time I apply for a job I get a f****g racist form to fill in: "Mark your ethnicity":

I'm Slavonic, Polish which means I have probably genes of several nations including Mongolian and Jewish, like most of Polish people.
From Nazi point of view I'm kinda Asian. From Anglosaxon? Mixed? Not-completly-white? White-if-we-say-so?

All I said was people marked different ethnicities on two different pictures of mine, I never said ANYTHING about my views on what is considered "white" or anything else.

I just call them white.

Those f****g forms are problem.
I also don't use those racist terms, becuasue why should I? When I talk about Asian people I say Asian, when I talk about Japanese I say Japanese and so on. When I was talking to Japanese people about differences and similarities we used terms "Europeans", "Western people" and such.

Oh really? What about those forms you often have to fill in  when you apply for a job in UK? It isn't called race, but ethnicity or background but it's the same! Ethnicity is like nationality or something more like Slavonic, Anglo-saxon and so on. Not White Irish, White Other, Asian, Chinese.
In Poland we don't have such forms and I was so shocked when I saw them! Every time I get them I feel like I was in RPA of apartheid times.

There are always boxes to tick. When it's possible I tick "don't want to state" or "none of above" or when I have to put Other. State. I write SLAVONIC and hope they would have to check it in google to know what it means. I know I should put Slav or Slavic rather but those look too similar to English "slave". Nazis have their own theory about it.

I truly feel sorry for a lot of the girls on facestat as i bet most of them have no self-confidence and that why the make others feel crap... thus making themselfs feel better
