I am a professional nonprofit fundraiser. Right now I'm a prospect researcher (and also do some web development for my organization), but I was a grant writer previously... I may go back in that direction eventually. It's amazingly satisfying for an English major to be able to write for a living, I loved it!

I quit my job at Starbucks a few months ago, and now I'm aiming for something a little more... sophisticated.

I work the phones at the Curse-tomer Service Desk for a major US airline. I am the evil chick who tells you (nicely) NO, you have to PAY to change your flight.
We don't care if your sick, we don't care if you're running late, we don't care if your dog ate your ticket, or if aliens made you book the wrong day on our website. You must pay! We are not a charity, we are a business.
Now do you see why it's 'curse'-tomer service? Nothing like getting chewed out all day just to make a buck

I'm an accountant (sounds boring, but it's not, you have to be pretty smart to do what I do) used to be a manager in a clothing store... but I realized I wasn't going anywhere, it was a fun job specially because I love fashion!!! but my brain was being wasted there... I have an associate's degree in business management and now I'm working towards a bachelor's in Accounting!

One day i hope to be an actress. I know it's one of those careers that people instantly doubt the minute you open your mouth and say it, but it honestly has been my dream since i was about 10 years old so i intend to go all out to get it!
If that fails... then maybe journalism? Or something travel related so i can move around a lot. I want to live in America but i hear it's really, really hard to get a Visa. Magazine editing would also be something i'm interested in!
Oh, and photography

Right now I work at Starbucks full time (and have been for 2 years) and I also work at Bath & Body Works part time. All in all I put in about 60 hours at both jobs combined. It's tough, but I like being able to pay all my bills and continue to have electricity and things of that nature!

ah yes, continuing having electricity etc IS good, my boiler broke down at the weekend! only a year old too, rubbish!!! all fixed now, but i HATE that kind of thing.
60 hours a week! that sounds like a killer!
