I'm currently a freelance photomanipulator. Fantastic work, but I don't get much coming my way. Pays well and only takes a few clicks of the mouse.
I want to be either a Photographer, Wardrobe Assistant, English Teacher or Museum Curator.
Lovely list LOL.

I'm an accountant!  epingle  epingle   I love it.   coeur   I get to do lots of research and be a bossy know-it-all whenever I want.  I'm working on the being bossy part, but I love always having the answer or looking it up.  This job really suits me, except that everyone either expects me to be a boring person or, if they've met me in person, can't fathom why I would take such a "boring" job.

Wow! everyone has such exciting jobs. I wish I had stayed at school and gone to uni etc. But circumstances did not allow me to. I'm just a secretary/PA. Boring! Yawn!

that could be fun if you're a gatekeeper secretary.    Dance minions, dance to see my boss!  ... probably good that I'm not one now that I think about it.

School can be very expensive!  And I have my loans to prove it!  But, sometimes you just have to take that plunge- regardless of the risk.  It will pay off-- and you may be paying off student loans too!  But I think the reward of graduating college is just something that you have to take for yourself if you really want it.
Best of luck!

I have a BSN and was an ICU nurse before my daughter was born. I currently review educational materials for ANCC accreditation from home. I don't know if I'll go back to the hospital, it's been nice taking a break from the 14 hr/day crisis.

Re: real life jobs

I'm a mechanical engineer.  Right now I do work on military vehicles, but I need to change jobs. (I've moved so we're closer to my fiance's job.)  I don't know what I want to do next.  I'm thinking about going back to school to get an MBA or to study economics.

Good for you for getting your foot in the door - the industry has been tough for the last few years. I used to be an Art Director, so I do the colouring-in, rather that the words.

But I hardly ever go over the lines big_smile

Edited for typos (like I said, rubbish with words roll)

I have friends who own a coffee shop and they say the biggest profit comes from the coffee and not the other stuff they sell. It is so cheap to make and once you pay off all the equipment its pure profit.
