Well, I don't think putting 4 threads together in one is a good idea..
When the first post (introduction) is like reeaaaaaaalllllyyyy long, that's not easy to read.
But well yeah, we'll see

honestly, I do agree with you. People will not be bothered to read through everything in the first post, just to find the answer to their question, so we will probably still see an abundance of the same questions we do now. Frustratingly; I don't think we will ever see an end to them

Exactly..
There should be an individual section in the forum, only for help-threads.. CLOSED help-threads!

A "closed" help/FAQ thread would be great, that way all the information doesn't get overpowered by all the subsequent posts.
And congrats Jess on making it a sticky

nawh thanks ^_^ And I agree, having them made into closed threads would be good; with a message at the bottom like: "If you do not understand something which has been explained, pm the board creator for a more in-depth explanation."
That would mean the same questions would not be overpowering the threads all the time, and if the board creator noticed an abundance in pm's not understanding the wording of the same answer, they could alter it to better suit ^^

Thank you, I wish more people would think a little like that, instead of accusing me of being rude all the time o_o;;
(with that said, how long do you reckon it will be until someone comes here and tells me I am being rude for thinking like that?)
Though I do not think it is always wasting time, I just think, perhaps, they should *try* searching a little bit first

Thank you, I understand what you're saying ^^ And I have never ever had any problems with the mods, they all seem lovely; and none of them ever tell me I am being rude.
It is just players who are trying to, I think, be the 'voice' of the newbies and the un-informed (for lack of a better word; simply meaning they do not understand the Forum very well.) These players think it is necessary to follow me (and some of my friends, too) around the forum, and tell us we are being rude for asking players to put a little more thought into where they ask their questions, and when they ask them.
We try always to ask in the nicest possible manner, suggesting ways in which they may make their comments more suited to where they are asking them, and other factors. We are trying, simply, to improve their forum experience, as well as that of the other players.
We are not trying to be hard on them for not knowing as much as we do
And I hate that people tell me I am doing that; because I am not.

My Bimbo's been in her undies all weekend to help people who need challenges - I'm accepting all no stake challenges - so challenge me as many times as you wish! I was on the challenge list 4 times in the last week (and I was wearing the greek goddess dress) so I feel terrible (and have an excess of won challenges now). So I'm trying to give something back to the Miss Bimbo community - I'm here to help!

Thanks for saying that, if I had of said it myself I would have been flamed by at least one player who was telling me I was being rude for answering.

I would prefer not to, and try to keep everyone happy. I don't like causing arguments, though I am not afraid to stand up for myself if someone accuses me of something. Soo, whatever
I am just sick of people having a go at me because they have nothing better to do when I am not even being rude in the first place -_-;; This is not the appropriate place to whinge though; so I will stop before I get criticised for doing that also

Nobody has the right to criticise you, so don't worry!
It's not those people that are too lazy to make a search that can ban you, only the mods can.. As long as they don't think you're saying something wrong, nothing can happen..
Go Jess!
