I love dreaming. I look forward to sleep because of it.
I have been able to control maybe a few dreams, though they are very rare for me. The name of it, lucid dreaming, is where I got my name from.

I'd like to control my dreams. I doubt I can though, I rarely dream.
When I do, it's usually after a scary movie. Last night, my budgie was possessed so I stabbed him.
And then I have romantic dreams about people I hate.
I think they're hilarious. :>

What you have to do is write down on a piece of paper what you want to dream about be as descriptive as you can. In your case perhaps a date with your dream guy. Then keep thinking about this over and over duriong the day and before you go to bed. keep the piece of paper with your dream next to you when you sleep and let your fantasy unfold.
If it doesnt work first time just try again.
Hope it works

basically you write a detailed plan of how you want your dream to pan out then keep it with you during the day and read it. then just before bed give it another read and you should be having your fantasies about jonny depp!

I can wake up and go back to the same dream with some mind control!
Weird dreams worry me for a couple of days.
When I was pregnant a baby boy kept popping up in my dreams and giving me advice about how to look after a baby!

Wow I've never heard of this before!
My dreams are always horrible, I've been shot 3 times now, met the devil, had my hair cut off and the obligatory naked at school dream. It's pretty rare that I remember my dreams but when I do, they're nasty.
I'm going to try that planned dream thing. Now I just need something decent to want to dream about. Ugh, i'm complicated XD

yes its lucid dreaming where your sort of half asleep and remember the dream so can sort of make up what happens.
dreams that you find weird always have a hidden meaning, just discover it. what does a baby boy mean to you? do you feel that you need advice? are you worrying abiut something that coul link to this?

my dream are often connected. it's like they continue or something. i can have some dream one night, and a month later the story just goes on, or it's something similar, and i remember in a dream the story from the last time, in a dream i know where it ended last time. it's weird. and i have bunch of this stories (dreams), who repeat or continue. i find it amusing
needles to say, everything i dream about is quite weird and surreal, with bunch of colors and funny places

the dreams that are continuing might be because your daily routine is usually the same so when your brain processes the day it seems similar to other dreams.
as for weird dreams they have a meaning that you need to uncover. what do the objects or topics i n your dreams mean to you? when youve answered the questions you should be able to work out those freaky dreams!

Ok I'm from the uk and I have WEIRD dreams. I find it REALLY STRANGE if I have a normal dream, cos it's so unusual for me!
If anyone can interpret some of my more memorable dreams, I'd find it interesting.
DREAM NO. 1:
I find myself semi-naked sitting on a forest floor with a huge gash in my stomach. I'm holding the wound together to stop my guts spilling out. Next thing I know I'm in a hospital that looks like it might be inside a spaceship. Everything is made of silver industrial metal and somethings have black and yellow hazard tape on. There are red flshing lights on some of the walls and I'm lying on my back on a metal operating area. My stomach is being stiched up by....the English queen mother!
DREAM 2:
It's night time I'm in a park, there are lots of trees and throught the park goes a tarmack road. Along this road walk robots, each carries a sword. They advance slowly and the park is absolutely silent. Then I see an image of one of the robots executing a child, abd there is a huge number too: indicating the number of humans left I think. Then the robot executes another child. I feel terrified and alone and scared and helpless. The slaughter continues until I wake up.
DREAM 3:
I'm in my local swimming pool. There is a giant diving beetle swimming up and down the pool. It over 8 feet long and about 6 feet wide. It's black. Next thing I know I'm in the communal showers at the pool, no one else is there, and there are the beetle's long black legs layed out on floor in front of me...and I just KNOW that I've eaten the beetle!!!
My dreams are nearly always scary and weird!

That is how the brain seems to work, remembering the dreams that stand out because there are too many to remember. weird dreams always have meanings try to work them out with questoions about what was in your dreams and what you think about them.
the boyfriend dream is random but maybe you missed him or thought about him just before bed? and the play, what did you think of it? did you enjoy it maybe your brain was playing back a happy time?

CARCRASHbimbo, Dream No. 3 is extremely creepy. Out of your list, #3 is the worst one for me! Being stitched up by a Royal pensioner, no problem. The impending doom of the robots of the apocalypse, fine! But eating a bug! Dear God NOO!!!

I've been working on lucid dreaming too, It used to happen to me quite a lot when I was young but only in nightmares, I realised I was dreaming but couldn't wake myself up, i didn't realise you could control them back then though.
The thing now is realising that I am dreaming, sometimes I have a silly trigger like wearing a pair of socks I dont have lol..... but really wierd dreams with like a dog floating across the room I dont even realise that its a dream
Apparently it can get addictive though, an alternate reality that is only limited by the size of your imagination.

well, the meaning of dreams is something bunch of psychologists, psychiatrists and neuroscientists tried to resolve for many years.
within the school that places great value on dreams, there are many approaches to finding the psychological message of a dream, each reflecting different theoretical outlooks. a freudian will find one kind of meaning in a dream, while a jungian will find another, and a gestalt therapist will find still another meaning.
but the view that dreams have psychological meaning at all has come under strong attack from neuroscientists. most of them believe the contents of a dream are products of the rendom brain activity, which the higher brain centers (like cortex, hippocampus etc) try to weave into a coherent story. it's in our brain's nature to create stories from elements, in a waking state, or dreaming. so bunch of new theories support that the way the dreamer connects those elements gives them their meaning, not purely elements that occur.
and some dreams do repeat, as in my case. some theories are based on a belief that repeating themes in dreams are frequently linked to unresolved psychological stress. but many times the actual content of the dreams has no apparent link to the unresolved problem that is causing the dreams, or there may be some symbolic meaning to many of the components of the dreams.
the point is, it's not so easy to interpret them, find the meaning etc.
