Because it is too long? I guess that that's why. And the corporation that makes the films know that they will make double the money if they make two films where they could make one. I think it will be better this way though... I'm sure that there is some other reason though.

yea they dont want to have to cut things out cos its the last book so they decided to split it into two films so they could get it all in there, the only problem i see with the two film thing is the time period between them, you will have to go see the first part again before the second otherwise you will have most likely forgotten what happened
in the book it was Cho's Friend Marietta Edgecombe who told umbridge about the DA
