Hi Everybody.Do you know after a few years the water we drink will be salty,the land we stand on will be vanished and there will be nothing but salty water all around in short form the earth will end.Please help.If you don't believe then why is China having earthquakes day by day because the Himalayas are shifting and why are the shifting because of global reasons. Please,Please help people prevent Earth from disasters.I have some points to prevent Earth from Global Warming,here are they =
Say no to plastic bags
Plant plants every month
Use cycles instead of cars to go to places near.
Use Carpools and Public transport
Off the showers while applying soap while having a bathing in the washroom
Use the Dust Bins to throw litter in and recycle thing which can be recycled
I only have these which I do.Please save the earth by doing so if you want to and if you even 1 task of these everyday it is fine but please just do something.
If you have any other point just post it here.

Change to low energy light bulbs.
Turn down your heat.
Don't leave your TV, computer etc on stand by turn them off the right way.

once i read something equally anal-it said to shut off your car at stoplights to save gas. no, i don't even think so.

China is having earthquakes because it is above tectonic plates, and the only reason China is having lots of earthquakes recently because of the tension ia built up in the plates and it realeased by earthquakes.

Well, it's silly. It wastes more gas to turn your car on and off for the minute you sit at the light than to just idle for it.

Nope, no such thing in Norway.
You're not supposed to let the engine run idle for more than a minute, though, which does make sense re: the gas you use running idle vs. the gas you use turning on and off the engine.

If turning the car off seems like too much, you could always put the car in neutral or park and that uses less gas. Just make sure to switch it back to drive once the light turns green.
One thing I recently started doing is reusing printer paper. I have so many handouts and stuff from this last semester that I took all the ones I no longer need and I use the other side to print out things like recipes and directions.
