Report this post function in forums

There are a few occasions where people need to draw the moderator's attention to something inappropriate written or posted in the forum. I've seen on other forums a '!' button which alerts all mods to the problem.

There is a horrid post at the moment on one of the sections and I have sent a PM to every mod in the hope that someone sees it before a vulnerable youngster does. Without being able to copy and paste the same message to each moderator because of sending restrictions if someone notices a problem it can be quite hard and time consuming to flag an issue.

A '!' button would enable people to flag up horrid posts, perhaps sending a message to the mods via a group distribution list and highlighting exactly where the problem can be located? Perhaps something like this already exists but I am ignorant to it but if not it would be good if something similar could be implemented. It would also help to avoid the "MODS PLEASE READ" topics.
