That's somewhat true about the offensiveness as you said, but as Vampie said, "I thought they are supposed to make fun of people who believe in motivatinal crap."
Also, the French is one thing. But making fun of retarded people is not cool (or funny).

I'm not too touchy about the subject, but I'm just pointing out - and I'm sure there are people who disagree - "retard" is a pretty archaic term and has contracted a very derogatory undertone. Medically used or not, I don't think it's necessarily the most PC expression there is. The meaning of words can change alot with time - You know, "idiot" used to refer to "a person with severe mental disability" too. (source)

I'm sorry, but you do realize, that you're getting all butthurt over a stupid picture on the internet? A little group of pixels on your screen. There are far more offensive things to be found on the net - and in real life. The picture doesn't make anyone respect the sentiment and efforts of the anonymous demonstrator any less.

And to be honest, said demotivator is really, really tame compared to most the stuff that's floating around.
