Heeey, my name's Oliver. This looks like a rather female-dominated site, so I hope people don't think I'm weird for being here.
I'm 17 and live in Nebraska. I'm a junior in high school, but the school year is done next week so I'm practically a senior. I'm planning on being a lawyer or engineer. If my aspiration to be an engineer doesn't make it obvious, I love math and science.
Uhm...I'm in band and I do marching band; I play the flute. I'm learning Latin (hopefully I'll be a JCL officer next year...), and along the lines of language, I'm a big fan. I love words and their usage, and I read a lot. I also know sign language, because my parents are deaf.
Outside of school things, I like to do art, though I mostly just draw (and when I do, it's mostly on the computer because I lose my art materials), and I love to play video games. Big fan of video games.
I'm quite awful at introductions, so I'll leave it there. I really like this site; the layout alone is gorgeous. Out of all the sites I've been to with the 'make an avatar and dress it up' theme, this definitely looks the nicest. I hope I'm able to stick around for a while, and make friends.

Welcome Oliver and Hemorrhage. You are very lucky that Latin was offered in your school. Here on the East Coast the only foreign languages offered in the schools my girls attend are Spanish and French.
What do you draw?

Hi, Oli, welcome to the world of bimbos!!
You sound like a great guy, intelligent, caring...I could go on...but will stop!! Hope you have lots of fun here

I'm glad Latin is offered, though I really would've preferred to learn Italian or Russian, or even Cantonese or Mandarin, as those're useful. My school offers Latin, French, Spanish, and German.
And uhm...I draw people, though not in a realistic style, and I would like to learn to draw landscapes and more weird, funky things. I'm not sure how to describe it~
And thank you~! I really hope I can make friends here. Sometimes I'm a bit awkward, I guess.
And my keyboard is/has been acting really weird...I hope that doesn't continue.

Hey Oliver - you write very much like you are older than 17 and it sounds like you're pretty ambitious with your interests.
I don't think you are any more silly than the rest of us for playing this game. It's not like there's really a game out there to truly simulate life so we may as well make fun of it with games such as this :-)

Haha, thanks. That is a compliment, right?
And that is true~ I'm probably going to be much more into the forums than the game itself, though. I'm bad at making money. Hopefully that's just because I'm so low level.

Oliver - Are you drawing in comic book style or anime style? I admire anyone who can draw. One of my girls can draw, the other can read/play music -two instruments. Hopefully, both will be able to feed themselves with their talents someday.
My Mom is German, so I have a life time of that. I took 4 years of French and am studying Spanish and Italian on my own. From my experience when I was lucky enough to go to Europe, they all study and can speak English. It is amazing.

It's probably more anime, but not like...stereotypical anime, because I dislike that. It's getting a bit more unique as I draw more and start putting effort into things and stylizing it as I feel suits me better.
I think that's really cool. I love the arts. But I feel that instead of being very talented at one thing, or one area, I'm just rather mediocre at art, music, writing, and even math. @__@ I play flute but I'm trying to learn sax.
I wish I could speak more languages. I'm just never able to really get myself to do anything. Although, I AM going to Europe this summer. Leaving May 30th, actually. I'm super psyched. I'm going with my Latin class and we're going to London, Paris, and some places around Italy.

Hey, I used to be in the marching band like 10,000 years ago! I loved it for all four years of school! Are you thinking about continuing on in college???
An Apple a day keeps the doctor away. Think Different.

I hope I CAN continue it. I'm not sure if I'm a good enough marching or musician, but I'm trying to improve. And it depends on if I can get into a college, and if so, if they even HAVE a band. xD Speaking of which, I need to start trying to find where I'm going to apply.

Hemorrhage, you are going to have the best time in Europe! I have been to London and Paris, but not Italy. Take the time to see whatever you feel is important while you are with your friends. ENJOY
Arts are great (the heart/passion in people is here - I think this defines someone), mediocre is great (but no one really aims here, do they)....what is your passion. Maybe its Math. College?

Hi there and welcome. Awesum that your travelling. I know to many people that havnt and they just dont know what there missing.

I'm pretty psyched.
My family has money problems though, so I'm worried about getting money, especially since I haven't been able to get a job and the trip is so soon. I probably just won't be able to get souvenirs~ But regardless I know I'll enjoy the trip. I'm PSYCHED to see Pompeii. I've never left the country and I've rarely left the state.
I'm not sure what my passion is. I LOVE music, but I don't think I'm good enough. And I LOVE doing math and science. I also love art (meaning painting and all that, of course), but again, I don't think I'm good at it. All of it is very cathartic for me, so it's hard to choose what to do. I figure I can focus on math/science and just continue art/music on the side.
I hope, anyway.
