if someone is a natural size 0 i dont have nothing against that
it's perpetuating this like the only model of beauty and perfection that upsets me
people are different and special for their own, that's beauty for me
showing your flaws because they are part of yoursel with proud, that is beauty for me
i have my own ideas on beauty and style and the rest of the worls have their own, but i find nauseating the imposition...like when you look at a catwalk and the speaker says what (and not who) will be the woman for the next season.
you may say that no one is forcing me to look like the Armani models (i think he's one of the worst in this issue), but in a sense it's happening, people stick to these models and trends.

Unfortunately, couture designers specifically design their clothing to be hung on these girls. They need to be human coat hangers. They're not designed to be worn by larger women. And larger women will never buy the designs. Simple. Now I agree that sizing is warped and yes, a size zero can be unattractive but it's just another size. It's like a size zero saying being a size 18 is disgusting. It's not. It's just whatever your opinion deems to be. However your happy it doesnt matter. as long as you are happy and no one has the right to make you feel or think any differently.

Size 0 isnt too skinny!! anyone can be whatever size they want to be!! x

Love them they are beautiful as any other woman in any dress size

ANyway . .size 0 isnt too small .. and most high street stores only go down to size 8, which is out of order on smaller girls..

It looks painful. Feed them a burger or two please! If your naturally like that then fine its yourself but people who crave to be something that they are not suposed to be sickens me x

I think it's disgusting when you see these gaunt, skeletel models on the cat walk. They influence the minds of teens all over the world, and what we are meant to think of as 'normal'. My mum knew someone who read about a girl who was a size 10, and was turned down for modelling for being too 'fat'. She was devastated and tried desperately to loose too much weight, putting her in hospital.
However, I don't go entirely by sizes, as sizes can be differenty depending on shops and designers. I saw a size 0 top in House of Fraser not so long ago, and it was the perfect fit for me - even though I'm 14 and a size 8. I've also seen another 'size 0' that was far too big for me - but on the other side of the scale I've seen size 0's that look fit only for skeletons.
I think designers need to start using more normal sized models, or models of a variety of sizes. Who's to say what's normal anyway? We're all different and why should that change on the cat walk?

We are all different, but..
clothes look better on models which are size 0,
the catwalk would look stupid with al different sizes and heights walking down it!

I don't think that clothes "look better" on someone who is a size 0. In all honestly, I think it's the media we should hate for saying that people should be a size 0. If you are a natural 0 then good for you. But also, if you are a natural 10 you shouldn't be ashamed. I hate when people see themselves as fat because it's not a size 0. And obesity wouldn't fix itself if more people felt bad about themselves. That comment was ridiculous. Parents need to make sure that their kids eat healthy and exercise.

I think the skinny fashion models look...well, good. Some models are naturally tall and gracile. I don't think anyone should starve themselves to get like that, however, and I know a lot of them do that.

size zero models are disgusting... but for some it's just their natural body shape.

I was a size 0 before I had my son but I'm only 5ft 1 1/2in tall. I didnt look sickly because I am so short. But when your 6ft tall and a size 0 you do look sick.

Well most people are saying it is sick to be size 0, when their probably just jelous that they aint! no one is saying you should be ashamed to be a size 10, but they are about size 0. We aren't talkig about kids, we are talking about models.

i must first preface this that in real life, women look good at any size 14 or under (sometimes even a bit larger) if they carry it well. that's because women in real life have their own look and can choose flattering clothing. though the harsh truth is that over a 14 is (except those that are 6ft tall) overweight and that is unhealthy
that being said, when i see a model i want to see a size 0. i don't want average because i am looking at a MODEL, who is supposed to be able to show off any article of clothing they put on her. she should be ideal, and that same bit of clothing should fit fine on the next model. they're supposed to be interchangable coat hangers, without distracting bodily imperfections. same with magazines, i really don't like this movement towards having average or fatties in their underwear for olay or whoever that is.

I know this is a old topic but with the forum being quiet I thought I re-open it ...
So what do you think off size 0 models?
