i have to disagree!! i wear heels everywhere and i mean EVERYWHERE!! including my work place! AND i am never out of a pencil skirt...i do not work in an office i just love to have a unique sense of style! i have a few clothes with HUGE flowers on them also such as SJP's dress!! so yes there are women just like her out there!

I dare you to try to get real work done in those little outfits.  I do work in an office, and it is simply impossible.  Pencil skirts, while attractive, are extremely uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time, and ride up beyond socially acceptable levels.  Stillettos are great if you don't mind going barefoot under your desk and having your toes freeze, or have your knees bruised up by the desk.  The tight shirts are entirely inapproptiate, and more often than not detract from your performance rather than give you credibility.

End story, you are a lot more crediable in the work place if you don't dress like you are more interested in cocktail hour than work.  You don't have to be bland, just appropriate you your work place.  If I works for a fashion mag, it might be expected, but most people don't!

I love Victoria Beckham and SJP. They both wear things that are completely unique and have the courage to rock them where ever they go. That's what makes them style icons.

I'm not a big fan of sjp's style in sitc.  She had some really cool pieces, but too many times the way she (her stylists) put them together is off.  Ex: in a mag spread for the movie she had this crazy granny seventies cocktail dress on with some rocker grecian sandals.  The sandals were great, but with the dress, not so much.

she is very ugly and in real life her style sucks!!! its just that in sex and the city they dress her up:)

I agree with that!

I like Sex & The City, and find Carrie to be super cute and have a cute style for a made up character. On SJP, however, I have no opinion - I'm not much of a fan of the gossip media, so don't have enough info Someone said that her fashion line is not great - well, it's not meant to be great but cheap.
