no im kidding you pervs buy i thought that this would be a good way to reel in some guts for advice. ok so there's this perfect guy that goes to my school and he has really been paying a lot of attention to me latley. in a flirty way. his girlfriend is my friend and he told me he's breaking up with her and they've been going out for months. he's only told me this. was he trying to give me a hidden message? 
i really want to know. not even hs buddies know yet! i asked his best friend is he knew, and he said no.

It really depends on the situation. What does your gut tell you? He might have just needed to confide in someone, but it very well could be a nonverbal signal.
However, no matter how perfect this guy is, give it some thought before acting since his present girlf is your friend.

Aw, it's never cool to date a guy who has dated one of your friends. Which is more important, your friendship, or some guy who you'll most likely eventually break up with? And how would you feel if one of your best friends started dating someone who had dumped you? Eesh.

just be aware hes not lying to you. He might be saying hes gonna break up with her so he can have somethin on the side with you but he maybe the type of player which has no intention of actually going through it. and think about it seriously...why would he tell you hes breaking up with her instead of one of his best friends....instead of actually doing it!
