Get over what answering questions? you made an accusation, that was untrue.

Made a statement, that if you cared to read the forums, you would have noticed that the Admin have the site have already provided you with a place to address any bugs which you have.

You aren't using those channels, but whining instead.

So why don't you get over it and use the proper channels like an adult?

Shelly there is no point to this. You are posting on a thread that the majority of people who are looking at it agree with the topic. It is obvious you don't agree and your opinion matters, but remember so does everyone else's. You have made valid statements, but with the thread topic you are greatly outnumbered and making enemies with every post. Although this is not an issue that effects your playtime, it is one that effects others. I personally have problems every once in a while, but nothing to keep me from enjoying my experience. However I do believe that if you are paying money to use the site to it's full potential (which you are going to have to eventually do in order to level up) than it should be able to run at full potential. I'm not here to fuel the argument, I just want to let you know Shelly that some battles are not worth fighting.

Amanda P.

Very eloquently put, Amanda! I agree completely with what you've said.

Yes, it's completely retarded to get pissy over this game, but people are still pissed...and there's nothing that you, SluttyShelly, nor anyone else can say to change their minds. Some of these members have waited around since the very beginning of this game for these bugs, glitches, new clothing, etc. to be taken care of. We've been promised by admin that these issues would soon be fixed, but they never followed through with any of it. So, I HIGHLY doubt that any long-term member of this site, who has signed this petition, is actually going to listen to someone who's been a member for a month. Am I reading that correctly, you registered on April 1, 2008? Trust me, when you've been around for as long as some of us have, you will get a little tired of waiting around as well.

If you have an issue with people actively trying to accomplish something that you could possibly benefit from in the future, are you really going to try to "convince" them to do otherwise if it does no harm to you in the meantime? Who gives a crap if petitions don't work, it's a freaking signature, not a kidney. What is there to lose? Nada, so we've chosen to support Looelladeville in her attempt. She may not succeed, but imagine if she does. If these "whiny babies" bother you so much, then don't YOU sign the petition. There are people who complain everywhere, just as there are argumentative brats who troll around on the world wide web trying to get peoples panties in a wad because you have your computer screen to hide behind. Hey, guess what...the earth is round. Now go ahead and argue with that.

By the way, nobody forced you to change your  oh-so-lovely screen name, SluttyShelly, because they went in and changed it to SillyShelly for you dear.... lol

Um you do realise that this is their job, right? While signing up for this site is free, they count on the fact that most people who stick around will eventually invest real money. So of course they want people to stick around and provide a service that will make want people to stick around.

Also, there are ads on this site. The reason why companies pay for having their ads placed on this site is people who stick around.

So to answer your question: they might have better things to do than provide us with a "free" game, but in the end it is what puts their food on their table.

Hope this helps.

actually, the admin has stated before that this is just a hobby. these problems arent new. the admin has not been too concerned with the site for a while. this is not their means of income. they have other jobs.

try going back many many many pages in some of the forums and you'll see this is just one big merry go round. same problems, new day.

Although I don't spend real money on this game, I do think that paying players should be respected and I feel that this site is not being run as professionally as it should be.

Whilst I am sure the moderators of the forum are doing the best they can, it is the Admin and Site Maintenance staff that need to be held accountable. if this is only a hobby and they cannot maintain it properly they should close the site down and refund everyones money.

That was before the new launch which cause the media outrage , Miss Bimbo is now run by a U.K registered business and therefore should act like one.

did somebody say something ? hmm

Yup, something far more constructive than moaning people, that all they can do is complain about something provided free.

But then some people are never grateful.

Just like anything else, some people get it free, some people pay.

Under UK law it stops being free when the vendor accepts money for it.

Under the UK Trading Standards Act something sold has to be fit for the purpose for which it was sold.

PayPal or a credit card company would probably look at it the same way.

On the other hand, I'm mostly having fun, and I don't think this site is that bad.

I am disappointed if they are still running it as a hobby.  But that would explain them falling into the trap of not keeping the French and English language sites as close in synch as possible.

Maybe a game company will buy MissBimbo off of them.  The creators make a tidy sum, and we'll get better maintenance.

If anyone knows any game companies, maybe email them the suggestion.

Re: MISS BIMBO - The Petition SIGN UP NOW

Thank you Looelladeville.  So Ouza Ltd took it over recently then, and it is no longer being run as a hobby.

After they get it handling the large volume of users, they will probably try to synchornize the programs on the French and English sites.  Once they do that it will be a lot less work for them maintaining it.  Then they can focus on improving it and adding features.

I program for a living, and it is surprisingly time consuming.  What an layperson might think could be done in a day, generally takes an average programmer a week.

If there are a few program-savvy bimbos perhaps something could be arranged where you can have a look at some of the bugs and try working them out in exchange for payment or bimbo goodies.

Swats away the annoying little bug

There are plenty of other free game sites out there that work perfectly, what's wrong with wanting our favorite to be up to scratch? You think just because it's free it's allowed to steal real money and set back our game play with poor communication and glitches? My medical care is free for me, does that mean I shouldn't expect appropriate care?
I didn't sign the petition to be chick, or ungrateful, I'd just like to play the game without any annoying and random frustrations added to the mix. If a website is going to handle other peoples very real money, it needs to be reliable, even if it is optional.

You don't pay to play the game, the game is free.

You can if you wish purchase bimbo dollars, which in turn can be exchanged for items in game.

You don't purchase a subscription, nor are there any promises that the site will be available for you to continue playing, or will be available for you to play at all.

You're right about not receiving the Bimbo dollars though, something I have already said, and if you aren't happy with the service provided, you can of course complain to paypal. While we are on the subject of Bimbo dollars, no where does it say its an instant transaction either, so if its not instant, tough luck basically.

Once you have been credited with bimbo dollars though, that's it you have received what you paid for, you have no further grounds for complaint just because the site is down, you paid to get Bimbo dollars, you received them.

Its like if I buy South African rand, and they day I receive them they have a change of currency and its no longer legal tender, I received what I paid for. I can't ask for a refund from the bank, just because I can't spend them.

I have signed the petition because I want a better run website and gaming experience.  I think of it this way.  Let's say I go into, oh Wal-Mart maybe or any store really.  I am just looking and don't really intend to buy anything, however when i go into the restroom all the toilets are clogged full of human waste.  Do I tell the manager that this is disgusting and I deserve better facilities from a place where I might spend money someday?  If I talk to the manager is he (or she) going to say, "Sorry mam, you didn't actually buy anything so we're not going to fix the toilets."  Heck No!

And as far as the improperly named SluttyShelly goes, anyone who calls themselves a lady of the night by choice is no one to be trifled with, especially when young teens might be on this site and reading these foul names.  I like how the mod's had to have her (i'm assuming it's a her) change her name because she didn't have the sense to realize it might be inappropriate.  Don't waste your time arguing with someone like that.  Life is better spent other ways.

hi this has nothing to do with the petition but i just wanted to comment on your toilet comment:)

in england (london) most shops do not let you us there toilet unless you purchase something from there shop:(

shops have signs up saying toilets for paying customers only.

Re: MISS BIMBO - The Petition SIGN UP NOW

signed and equally frustrated with folks repeating the same arguments the admins have been giming us and with the admins doing nothing...

it's now been what 2 weeks since we got 4-5 new clothes (and we didn't even get all that koopa said he was giving us IIRC) and that brings the number of available clothes to what? 760?

still no where near 800 and no where near the number available on ma-bimbo at level 5

weeps for the future

Re: MISS BIMBO - The Petition SIGN UP NOW

They will act like a real registered corporation ..... and completely ignore your petition.

Not many people send petitions around to get Wal-Mart to clean their toilets, you just stop going to that Wal-mart, and maybe tell a few friends. And for those who spent money, I feel for you but "buyer beware." Stop spending your parents hard earned money on bad games that can be played for free.

The way I viewed this game was as a free 10 min a day waste of time. Though, since noticing some of the bugs I've realized there is so much more to the site that can be fun. Mostly, reading these forums and laughing hysterically. Think of your tribulation as a lesson on being in a zen state of mind. Accept your misfortune, own it, and learn to enjoy life despite disappointment.

Re: MISS BIMBO - The Petition SIGN UP NOW

Signed the petition a few days ago! A bug in the forum has prevented me from posting for the last few days, in addition to slowing down my game--nothing in zen ever said we had to give up our voices when they've been stolen. hmm I couldn't even put up a notice that my bimbo was trapped in the library for 957 minutes..."free" doesn't have to mean "clearly faulty".

Pay Miss Bimbo or the petition site? The donations page that appears at the end is for the site hosting the petition, not the party who started the petition. So, you definitely don't have to pay them.
