Yeah, if i was talkin bout medicine i would call it medicine
not drugs
We're talkin bout drugs like coke and crack that dosen't heal ur body it makes it worse.
Medicines ARE types of drugs.
Alcohol is a drug, as it tabacco. They are much much worse than a lot of the drugs out there, not only worse, but a lot more addictive.
Alcohol wrecks your liver, kidneys and bladder, your life, your bank account and it shuts down your brain, where as drugs like cocaine, open it up.
A lot of medicines do not heal your body either, some actually are more harmful than illegal drugs.

That was what i was trying to sayand what medicines are more harmfull than illegal drugs?

Anti-psychoctics, anti depressants, even some painkillers, anti infamitories, benzodiazepines, diazepam, temazipam, there are plenty of so called "medicines" that are refered to as chemical straight jackets and have the revolving door effect with patients.

Have a look at what good your chemotherapy does.

So ur saying sniffing coke and injecting yourself with god knows what is ok?
because they effect ur brain and u will do very stupid things so you might not die of drugs
but you can die of the effects.

My nephew used to be absolutely terrified of him. Maybe deep down his little toddler brain could sense that he was a coke fiend.

Whether or not you think it's ok depends on your values. When we talk about drug use, I can see that you know nothing about this subject and have become victim of the hypodermic syringe that the media put out to you.
If I was a diabetic then I would be rather thankful that I had that "god knows what" to inject.
Did you know that alcohol kills 33 000 people alone in the UK? Compare that to the death rates of users of MDMA and it is practically nothing. People are much more likely to do stupid things on alcohol, why? Because he closes down your brain, on other drugs, it opens your receptors up, meaning that you are more aware and about 100 times less likely to do something stupid. Anything that a person on drugs does that is stupid, I'm willing to bet anything that that is their temperament, not the drug.
I would definately prefer to be driving along side someone who has taken drugs such as cocaine or ampathetamines than someone who has drank, put it that way.
Millions die of smoking. Millions.
All drugs effect your brain! Even legal ones e.g. medicines, that's how they work. They change or modify the chemicals in your brain.

You're not even listening to Higwiggin.
Higwiggin is not saying all recreational drugs are all good and that they don't have problems and she's not saying that she's a drug user.
What she's saying (I think) is that there are a lot of misconceptions about drugs - some are not quite as harmful as they are advertised, and a lot of times, when people have problems with them, it is because of the impurities added into the drugs, and not the pure drug itself.
Also, sometimes, people die because of stupidity with the drugs, not necessarily the drugs themselves.
For example, only one person has died directly from marijuana (although I personally attribute it to stupidity). This person died because he didn't realize cannabanoids are not water-soluable and that you shouldn't inject yourself with marijuana. He tried boiling marijuana and injecting it into his arm; he died from the resulting embolism in his arm after injecting it. (I found this out from the non-fiction book Cause of Death: A Perfect Little Guide to What Kills Us, which is edited by Jack Mingo, Erin Barrett, and Lucy Autrey Wilson.)
And about drug users? Drug users are real people, too; we're not "backing them up" and saying that their drug use is good. But drug users are everyone's friends and family, even if you don't realize it. Alcoholism runs in my family; I've also had a couple of friends go to Alcoholics Anonymous and other rehab programs.
One of my friends died recently after a heroin overdose.
I don't support the drug using, but I support the person.

but i think whats she's saying i somtimes agree with but somtimes i feel differently
all peeps have different opinons
but we have different understandings of "drugs"
i have learnt most about them at school and some bits off the internet
and i know internet can't always be a truthful source

I must say mark was a fantastic artist but it was wasn't a suprise that he did turn to drugs
he had a ongoing job and loads of money but he wasted it all on crack and coke i feel sorry for his family but other that
it was his own fault for taking drugs?Something wrong with taking drugs is there?
...and why oh why isn't it a suprise?
.. there's a problem with taking drugs when you're using them for the wrong reasons.
there's also a problem with being an alcoholic & smoking but there are illegal drugs that can easily kill you - alcohol & smoking takes time to kill someone, meaning you have time to get help. if you get addicted to illegal drugs they can screw you up big time - alot more than alcohol. so your little debate is pretty stupid.
