I thought the same thing in the begining of the game, and after completing a goal would move out of my apartment to save money. Now I'm almost at level 12 and the main thing that will keep me from the upcoming goals (especially 14 and 16) will be BA.  After doing the math, it looks to me like buying the 2nd level apartment for 10,000 is the most cost effective way to gain BA daily. If what people have said re: buying is correct, you lose about $21(BD) day, but gain 70 BA/day. Compared to most other ways of getting BA, it seems to be the cheapest!

Brit, It's not too late if you haven't already done it. Having that extra BA is the only reason I got to my 25000 - otherwise I'd be dancing at the club 24/7!!

(I was confused when I was planning on buying, and I thought the level listed for each apartment meant that was the last level you had to buy it and if you leveled up past it you had missed the opportunity to buy!    I'm sure I'm the only person that has ever thought this, but if this is confusing to anyone else reading this: the number represents the *first* level at which you are eligible to buy that particular apartment.)

Oh, I didn't even think about the levels. I do think I'm going to buy the 2nd apartment, and then when it comes time for me to move into the other apartment to level up I'll just rent that one. Otherwise I will also be at the club 24/7 and totally stuck on levels!

Good advice Jessimika, BritneyLindseyHilton i bought the 2nd level apartment and then had to sell it a couple of days later as i did not look closly at the next levels goals. I did not lose to much BD on it itself but you do pay for the new one the day you move in. So effectively i paid for accomodation twice on the one day.

Ahh, yes that kinda sucks! I have been checking ahead to see what my future goals will be. Like I said earlier, the BA is what is going to make me wait around to level up. For the most part (other than the games) you get around 1BA for 1BD...like the therapist is about 50BD and you get 60BA or something. If you buy the 2nd level apt, you get around 3.33 BD/per BD.   
So I'm thinking buying is the way to go, although it kind of stinks to have to save up 10,000BD while also trying to save like 11,000BD for my breast surgery. Ahhh the life of the bimbo, can't wait to get a really wealthy boyfriend and have more BD to buy fun clothes

FoxehLoxehh, if you post in the wrong thread you can always delete the error. Also, you can edit a post you've already made so you don't have multiple posts one right after another.  For example, you could easily delete 2-4 of the posts on this page alone that seem to be mistakes.
