I love the first one, except for the boots? Personally I'm not a big fan of them; but they look nice with the outfit! So in my opinion, the first for sure

I prefer the second. The warm red tones look better, in my opinion, and stand out more than some of the blues do against the black. I also like the gypsy vibe.

Second looks more polished but I really dislike that skirt, SO I prefer the first as it seems more stylish to me!

I absolutely love the second one. (ed: I think you could put on gold jewelery instead of silver. The bag has gold, and the shirt has gold as well so the silver kinda looks a little bit out of place. Still is a great outfit)
The first one looks way too busy. With so much black around, nothing stands out at all and ends up with a baglady-ish kind of look. Since the pattern of the shirt really stands out by itself, I would say there's no need to use so many accessories.

Bit to much going on in the first one but I suppose challange wise it would do well!
I have those boots in red - loved them but they are a nightmare to look good with anything!

i dont have any gold jewelry cuz in real life, i hate gold.
and i've been wearing the second one since yesterday, and i think its actually better for challenges. don't see how, but it could be something else like ba.
and i agree with you clarabow, the first did feel like too much, but i can't see how to tone it down and stay stylish.

I would say that you should drop the belt and the braclet. Change the hat into a purple or red flower. Also change the necklace into a black ribbon or the silver necklace. The bag dosen't seem to fit in but unless you have the black leather one all you can do is to skip the purse. All in all my humble opinion.
