There's many meanings for the word. I only know of two.
From where i'm from it's usually a beautiful, but horrifyingly dumb girl.
It's also a name of a company that sells foods

where i'm from it's very attractive girls who only have air between the ears. Usaly the steriotype attached to WAG's.

I'm kind of surprised that the second definition wasn't third.

Not that I'm being sexist, just didn't know the second definition was more widely know than the third definition.

well, in Portugal, my country, A bimbo is someone with no sense of style, or manners. Generally those who live in the coutry or small towns. And they talk funny.

I've never heard the term bimbo applied to a man before. Not in that way at least.

My male friend is a big bimbo!

He acts dumb to get his way but knows exactly what he's doing.
He has beauty treatments every week.
He spends a fortune on clothes and only wears them once or twice.
He throws a strop in the bathroom if his hair is out of place.
He is a big flirt with lots of women coz he thinks he look too hot for every woman he meets!

My mate is sooo a bimbo! He's not stupid though he knows how to get what he wants.

Yeah, Barbie does nice things like being a teacher but that is created only in a couple of years. Before, she was known as having pretty dresses, wearing makeup, going to parties to meet boys and flirting. This is what people still think of her - well most of the old generation and that is what I was baseing the thought on, because this is what I see in Barbie. I'm glad they're starting to change the image of Barbie into successful, business-like, focusing on careers-type of girls 

I dont know if anyone has noticed but..not many young girls play with Barbie anymore  they play with Barbie-like dolls but now it's MyScene, Hannah Montana Doll, Sugababes doll..
