In response to the original question:
Yes! All emo boys are hot. But goth boys are hotter! Nothing gets me worked up more than seeing pretty boys in eyeliner.
Ah but you see, "goth" and "punk" were fashion styles before they were music genres.
"Goths" used to listen to Heavy Metal music then came the genre of goth music.

emo just stands for emotional. it can be a style of music, clothes, anything. although it is basically true that the music came before the style, they stemmed from each other. and alot of emos don't hurt themselves, thats a stereotype stemmed from the music.
