Hiya!

I'm Meghan and I'll be 19 on January 21st, so I believe you'll find that there's still enough time to rush out and buy me a present if you run.  Also on the 21st I should be formally engaged to my boyfriend of five years -- he wants to propose in front of my friends and such so I imagine he'll do it at my birthday dinner or party afterwards.

I'm from Massachusetts in the US.  To ask where exactly I live is a tough one.  I moved out of my parents' house when I graduated highschool, but we get along much better now so I visit often.  That house is a little brown house that you can see the ocean from on the South Shore of Massachusetts.  I'm a college student, so of course I live in the dorms there -- that's UMass Amherst, in Western Mass.  And I share an apartment in Boston (Brighton to be exact) with the previously mentioned boyfriend whenever I'm not in school.

I'm studying French, Spanish, and education to be a teacher most likely, but I secretly kind of want to be a lawyer.  Right now I am a breakfast waitress, but I have run the gamut as far as jobs go.  I've been, to name examples: a technical support operator, an adoption counselor for an animal shelter, a fish seller and caretaker at PetCo, an administrative assistant, and a cashier.  It's not really that I get fired that often but rather, well, ... I get fired.

In addition to French and Spanish, I also take American Sign Language, and I learned Esperanto.  I took a year or less of Arabic, German, and Portuguese as well -- I'd love to take more (since I know nearly literally none of any of them beyond greetings!) when I have time.

I have a huge orange cat named Bailey who I adopted from the shelter that I volunteered for and my boyfriend's two cats named Kitty and Daemon.  We'd love to get a dog once we move out of the city.
